12/09/2026: Our group of four had dinner at La Piazzetta Restaurant. The Pinsa (Roman Pizza) was excellent. We shared a Margarita Pinsa and and Pinsa ala Norma (eggplant, tomatoes and cheese)
It was excellent and the food was served right out of the oven
Alex and Stella were very warm and friendly. We were offered complimentary appetizer a fried spinach ravioli to start and a limoncello to finish,
We also had the tiramisu which was also excellent

20/09/2026: This restaurant was amazing, the staff was so friendly and made us feel right at home. The food was literally to die for, the seafood pasta was packed with fish. The staff is Italian and is accommodating in every language. The prices are very reasonable. I will be coming back forsure. I highly recommend if you’re in the Menton area.

05/09/2026: The owners are very welcoming and kind. Have been going to this restaurant for many years now and I am pleased to see their consistent quality of food and service.
30/08/2026: The food was very good, with prices in line with other restaurants in the area. We shared a first course and a grilled meat for one person, even though there were two of us, and we ate heartily and left feeling completely full. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming.
The atmosphere is pleasant and romantic, with a beautiful view of the harbor. The only downside is that there's a parking lot between the restaurant and the harbor, but it gets little traffic so it's not intrusive.

20/09/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance and were pleasantly surprised. Let me start by saying that I'm celiac. When I first asked, "Do you have any gluten-free options?" the waiter replied no, but I very kindly explained that a second course was fine, and he very helpfully told me they'd do their best to accommodate me.
I must admit that all the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to my needs: they checked several times in the kitchen to make sure everything was safe. For my appetizer, I shared an octopus and potato salad with my boyfriend, while for my main course, I opted for calamari, which took a while to arrive, but that was simply because they'd made it fresh and separately to avoid cross-contamination.
I don't know if this service is standard practice or if it was a gesture of great humanity, but I have to say I recommend it both for the kindness of the waiters and the delicious food!

The service is decent; it's a good brasserie!
The beachside terrace is still quite noisy, though.
But overall, it's pretty nice.

07/09/2026: We went there for dinner and received a very friendly welcome.
We were seated at a table for two, just the two of us. Everything was great until the hostess suddenly seated a couple we didn't know at our table. It was fairly busy, but there were several empty tables next to us – admittedly, they were larger tables, but they remained unoccupied until just before we left. It felt really strange sitting at the same table with two strangers. This somewhat spoiled our visit – the couple couldn't have done anything wrong, but they could have at least asked if it was okay with us… this is absolutely not the norm, and no other table in the entire restaurant was simply "shared" like that. I wouldn't have complained if the tables could have been pushed apart, but it was a single, solid tabletop.
Nevertheless, the food was really delicious. I would recommend it for that, but the overall experience was unfortunately rather disappointing.

04/04/2026: The atmosphere is dirty, and they're arrogant and slimy. It's unfortunate to hear them mock ALL their customers behind their backs, including the poor Italian regulars. A miserable attitude.
01/03/2026: Absolutely avoid this place during the Lemon Festival. The waitresses and the owner asked us to leave the terrace while we were ordering and waiting in line because no waitress was taking our order on the terrace (after a 20-minute wait)! A complete lack of courtesy! Total disorganization!

09/08/2026: Unfortunately, the restaurant deliberately charged us twice - explaining that they have poor cell phone reception outside.
08/08/2026: Disappointed with this restaurant... the carbonara pasta was creamy with supermarket-tasting bacon. You have to ask for a carafe of water at least three times before being served. My paella could have been better if the chicken hadn't had an aftertaste... as a result, my partner and I both had stomach aches from the small amount we ate.

29/08/2026: Absolutely terrible. The socca was undercooked, unlike the pichade and flamme kache, which had been left in the oven and were therefore overcooked. A complete tourist trap, avoid at all costs!
29/08/2026: Huge disappointment: the socca was soggy, tasteless, unpeppered, and microwaved right in front of us (but still served cold), the flammekueche was overcooked and dry, and the pichade tasted burnt and was also dry… Go elsewhere if you want to discover real specialties!!! Socca lovers will be extremely disappointed.

20/07/2026: This restaurant is already known to me in another location, also in Menton.
It recently reopened, and I must admit it's in a very convenient location for a variety of reasons and conveniences.
The place is very welcoming and clean, making you feel right at home.
I also appreciated the hospitality of the management, who were highly professional. The food was excellent if you wanted to stop for lunch (the quality and price were above average, convenient).
I highly recommend it, it deserves it!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It deserves all five stars.
