25/02/2026: We booked a table for Sunday evening during the parade at the Fête du Gourmand (Birthday Festival). The atmosphere was relaxed, and our waiter was incredibly kind and generous, taking the time to explain everything, offering us a taste of three wines, and being very friendly with the children. The food was delicious (salmon tartare, pizza, gnocchi, and dessert), and the wine was excellent, as we received great recommendations. The service was quick and efficient.

09/02/2026: I've been a regular for a long time, and my friend and I are always very happy to have our lunch break at Edwige's. The welcome is always pleasant, and the value for money is excellent! Less than €30 for two people for a beagle, a drink, and a dessert keeps us going for the rest of the day.

23/02/2026: Seated on the terrace, we asked to change tables because there was a lot of very smelly dog excrement. So we went inside. After they took our order, we waited an hour before being served, after which we decided to leave. The cleanliness and condition of the premises left much to be desired. It doesn't deserve the Routard guide's recommendation.

The pizza is excellent, the delivery is on time, the service is friendly, and there's a good variety of choices.
Having ordered elsewhere 5 or 6 times when this pizzeria was closed, we've never found anything better, or even equal!

01/03/2026: The coffee is very good, but the service is frankly appalling. We had barely finished our cup when the Italian waitress came to remove it without a word, making it perfectly clear that it was time to leave the table.
This complete lack of consideration for customers is unacceptable. This kind of behavior makes us absolutely not want to return. Fortunately, in Menton, there are other establishments where you can enjoy excellent coffee with respectful and friendly service.

03/03/2026: Avoid this restaurant at all costs. The staff is incredibly unpleasant, with the exception of one person, the waiter. This restaurant employs runners who aren't there to help but treat customers very badly. The Milanese-style veal cutlet was ridiculously thin, served with a handful of fries, all for 25 euros. The dish was a disgrace... We're regulars, and this is unacceptable.
01/03/2026: I don't understand the previous reviews! We went there yesterday and it was fantastic!
The service was top-notch, the calamari, the escalope, and the truffle gnocchi were all delicious! We even got pasta with homemade sauce instead of fries! Seriously, go there! Wonderful service

21/02/2026: Disgusting restaurant, the fried food (frozen, if you can even call it that) was more like shredded fish.
I expressed my dissatisfaction to the owner, who didn't appreciate being told (even delicately) that it was disgusting. She must think tourists are suckers!
This restaurant needs an inspection. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
14/02/2026: A unique and charming place. Clean restrooms. However, we waited an hour for pasta and pizza. We had our drinks and left before being served. Incomprehensible. Disappointed.

26/10/2025: Avoid NOW My previous review was removed. Stayed with my partner, paid for our bed. Was forced to pay a hidden charge and insulted us the whole time in the process. Horrible place. DO NOT GO. I cannot stress this enough. Don’t believe me? Look at the owners response to bad reviews.
20/09/2025: Nice stunt: arriving at 2 p.m., they re-stated the schedule to 1:30 p.m. on the bill, just to make us pay for the full day's worth of deckchairs. Clearly, our consumption wasn't profitable enough for their taste. As for the waitress—friendly as a barn door—she reminded us not to picnic after spotting... a poor biscuit wrapper.

Par contre en salle une restructuration de l’organisation du travail s’impose.

02/09/2024: We have visited this restaurant on a regular basis over a long period of time, and always been happy with our meal. Good location, nice fish, friendly and good service. My only wish would be for a slightly more extensive, and more interesting wine list, in additon to the good value selection now on the menu.
27/08/2024: 10/10 restaurant for service, refinement of the dishes, courtesy. Delicious tuna tartare served on a bed of very finely sliced courgettes, large grilled sea bass and creme brule. A place with very pleasant furnishings and a bill that is absolutely adequate for the quality of the dishes. Without a doubt to recommend.
