06/07/2026: What a wonderful time we had at this restaurant! We were delighted by the quality of the food and the warm, typical Menton atmosphere.
The dishes were generous and flavorful, with a special mention for the shrimp gnocchi, which were perfectly cooked. The presentation was elegant, as was the rest of the table setting, with its checkered tablecloths that lend an authentic charm to the place. A must-visit for lovers of good Italian cuisine.

06/07/2026: A wonderful discovery in Menton. Everything was perfect from start to finish.
I particularly enjoyed the octopus salad, which was very fresh and well-seasoned. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with its typical red and white checkered tablecloths. It's a place where you immediately feel at ease.
The dishes are generous and flavorful, with a special mention for the seafood pasta. The meringue dessert was the perfect finishing touch to this meal. A truly successful experience that I highly recommend.

23/07/2026: A wonderful evening at Le Martina! For starters, we enjoyed bruschetta with ham and mozzarella, followed by spaghetti carbonara and pasta with swordfish and eggplant – everything was delicious and prepared with great flavor.
The welcoming atmosphere, the warm service, and the generous portions made for a perfect evening. We felt completely at ease and will definitely be back!

20/07/2026: The owner is amazing. Fantastic energy. We had the juices, milkshake (chocolate & vanilla) and espresso. Great! The street setting is a great pull and on a hot day the shade is welcome. Keep coming back. Haven’t had the food yet so not able to rate but will be back and sure it’s a 5/5 too.

I live in Paris, but there is no pizza place anywhere here that is as good as this.
The staff are also very friendly.
Unfortunately, tonight was my last visit.
Next year, I should skip Nice and come straight to Menton.

Honestly, we absolutely don't regret being turned away from the restaurant next door, because it allowed us to discover this gem. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end: the dishes were excellent, generous, and prepared with care.
The staff is incredibly kind and professional. It had been a long time since we'd been greeted with such smiles, warmth, and attentiveness. It was truly delightful!
The setting is magnificent, right by the sea, with a very pleasant air-conditioned dining room. Everything was perfect for a wonderful experience.
Thank you to the entire team for your warm welcome and delicious food. We will definitely be back and we wholeheartedly recommend this place!

21/07/2026: Very disappointed, too expensive for what it is. There was little wait time but the service was poor overall. The food wasn't good; the tuna was too salty, the salmon had no flavor, and the prawns were far from fresh. I do not recommend it.
19/07/2026: Delicious food. Grilled fruit, grilled meat, focaccia with shrimp and avocado, and pizzas. Very tasty. Portions were just right. The inside was a bit noisy and stuffy, and the tables could be larger, with more space on the table and under the table for four people's legs. :) But the food, the service, everything was great. A very successful dinner.

04/04/2026: The atmosphere is dirty, and they're arrogant and slimy. It's unfortunate to hear them mock ALL their customers behind their backs, including the poor Italian regulars. A miserable attitude.
01/03/2026: Absolutely avoid this place during the Lemon Festival. The waitresses and the owner asked us to leave the terrace while we were ordering and waiting in line because no waitress was taking our order on the terrace (after a 20-minute wait)! A complete lack of courtesy! Total disorganization!

10/07/2026: When we arrived, a man seated us and asked if we wanted water. We told him we wanted plain still water. Then a very friendly woman came to take our order and gave us excellent advice.
Despite the woman's good service, the dishes were bland and uninteresting.
After a mixed meal, we were shocked when the bill arrived and found we were charged €7 for water! We had asked for tap water, plain still! The first man who brought us the water neither mentioned nor informed us that it was extra, and when we went to pay, he spoke to us in a very condescending, even arrogant, manner, telling us that it was normal to charge for water and that we were the ones with the problem. I do not recommend this establishment, despite the warm welcome from the woman who served us, which was also our opinion when we paid!
I understand why this restaurant has such poor reviews. And why there was no one there on that Friday evening.

30/07/2026: By the roadside, you can't hear yourself speak. The food is being reheated in a microwave right in front of you, the floor is sticky, the food is definitely leftover and defrosted. It's disgusting, both in terms of food and hygiene. The woman is scrubbing the plates with her bare hands without washing them, and the cutlery is dirty. Avoid this place at all costs, and quickly.
26/07/2026: They charged outrageous prices for food that was at least a day old. It was disgusting! And I'm not usually a picky eater.

20/07/2026: This restaurant is already known to me in another location, also in Menton.
It recently reopened, and I must admit it's in a very convenient location for a variety of reasons and conveniences.
The place is very welcoming and clean, making you feel right at home.
I also appreciated the hospitality of the management, who were highly professional. The food was excellent if you wanted to stop for lunch (the quality and price were above average, convenient).
I highly recommend it, it deserves it!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It deserves all five stars.
