25/08/2024: We were a table of nine and we were all delighted by the quality of the dishes. The pasta is simply delicious, with the freshly grated parmesan in front of you. The pizzas, especially the truffle one, are excellent, and the cocktails are perfectly measured. The service is also impeccable, with a smiling and attentive team. Nothing to complain about, only positives! Keep it up, we will definitely come back.

15/10/2024: We arrived at the campsite in August after a long drive in very hot weather. We had our two small dogs with us. With the key to our rental in hand, my daughter alerted me to the breathing of one of our dogs which was very heavy. We return to reception, my daughter rushes there to ask for help. I'm on the phone with the veterinary emergency room and Margaux arrives with a bucket of water and a towel. I can never thank her enough for her help and responsiveness. In addition, this campsite lived up to my expectations with my disability. See you soon

30/09/2024: Pleasant campsite not far from the sea, shops. Calm mid-September week, friendly staff, well-appointed mobile home with good bedding,,,,(a mini oven would be welcome....in a 4 star!!!). Practice the catering side. I recommend.

14/09/2024: One of the best pizzas I have eaten and then I compare with Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Australia, Thailand, Philippines and Italy! Unfortunately no outdoor seating. Highly recommend this pizzeria!

02/10/2024: Très déçu. Pour accompagner les apéritifs, des cacahuètes seraient les bienvenus. Les pizzas ne sont pas bien exécuté, la cuisson n' est pas maîtrisé. La calzone avec ce gros bourrelet de pâte.. limite brûlée, et pas beaucoup d ingrédients à l intérieur. Même pas une petite salade pour accompagné. Mais comment peut on oser servir cela pour 17€? Distributeur de savon et sèche mains HS dans les WC. La restauration c'est un métier qui demande beaucoup de rigueur et de sérieux. Si ça commence comme ça.... ça ne va pas le faire.

22/09/2024: Very good value for money! Reasonable prices for fresh, quality products! The salads are delicious, the pizzas too, the cocktails generous and the service impeccable. We have already been here several times and we will obviously come back! A very good address in Ronce Les Bains 😋

26/11/2024: Truly delicious pizzas. They are tasty, each ingredient is fresh and good. Well cooked. Wide selection and drinks available to take away with the pizzas as well as good ice creams.

31/10/2024: Edit: you are being judged if you take a pizza that you compose, the quality has further decreased since last year. Heartbreaking. Average quality ingredients, a little expensive. Good for helping out one evening (or midday). Be careful, they put nuts in the 4 cheese pizza...

20/09/2024: We had an extremely disappointing and infuriating experience at Via Roma in La Rochelle. After driving all day from the south, we stopped around 7:15 pm to have dinner. From the moment we arrived, the servers were rude. When I inquired about a specific dish, the waiter sarcastically responded, “Why would you have that?” He then switched our waitstaff, claiming he didn’t speak English. Meanwhile, he had no problem chatting and playing with a passerby’s dog. Our new server, a young lady, was polite and took our orders: one Caprese salad, spaghetti Napolitana, one wine, and one beer. The spaghetti was terrible, but since we had to drive to Carnac, we ate a little to settle our stomachs. Earlier, we had a starter at a nearby seafood place that only served small plates, which is why we came here hoping for a full meal. We were seated at table 6 outside, and our bill came to 42 Euros. However, we were told to pay inside at the register, and they refused to accept our credit card. They swiped my card, and we left. Shockingly, when I returned home and reviewed my bank statement, I discovered they had charged my card $333. The restaurant claimed to my bank that this was the correct amount, which is utterly absurd. We spent just 25 minutes there, dissatisfied with the food and service. We left in a hurry and didn’t get a receipt, only realizing the scam after checking our statements. Despite providing photos of our time there, the bank refused to help us recover our money, saying the charge was justified as we handed our card to be swiped. This establishment has essentially robbed us of our hard-earned money for a terrible dining experience. Tourists, please beware: AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Do not use your debit or credit cards here—pay cash if you must go. No one answers the phone or responds on their Google page. This restaurant is a complete scam. Save yourself the trouble and stay far away from Via Roma!

13/02/2024: We have been enjoying the pizzas of this pizzeria for a while. We have tested quite a few in the area. It's the best pizzeria around. From afar. They really stand out from the others (to the point that we only go there, otherwise we are disappointed). No error possible on the menu, the pizzas are all excellent. As a bonus, a pizza of the month which changes (so) monthly with an original recipe (and often excellent, sometimes we would like some to be included on the menu permanently). Try it, you won't be disappointed (advice: choose soft dough)
