04/04/2026: In La Rochelle for a few days, we first came on Wednesday evening as a couple. We appreciated the staff's friendliness so much that we came back last night with friends! If you're looking for a unique place to eat, and especially a place where you're welcomed with smiles and warmth, look no further! The folks from Niort 😉

29/03/2026: We received a very poor welcome last night: they took the time to find a table for the four young women in front of us, who had come without a reservation, but as for us, they simply said, "I won't get anything for you..." while barely looking at us and immediately addressing the people behind us... It's time to change professions if you're not capable of welcoming customers (without whom you are nothing) with a little courtesy!

26/03/2026: A very pleasant restaurant with excellent service, even though the dining room was full. The only slight issue was a forgotten order – a pizza for the child – but the problem was resolved quite quickly.

22/03/2026: Decent pizza and other dishes, gigantic desserts! Very nice setting and menus with a touch of humor. Beware of the service, it's very slow and unfriendly.

05/01/2026: We booked for 5 in the summer of 2025. It was one of the only restaurants open on a Sunday at the end of August with available tables. The pizzas weren't amazing, but we were happy to find a table that day. The owners gave us a warm welcome. Dogs are welcome.

28/02/2026: One day, I asked a friend if he knew a good Italian restaurant in town, and he took me here. Since then, I've fallen in love with their truffle ravioli, and I only order that; or kidneys when they have them, they're so delicious, like they were today! – I promise, one day I'll try the other dishes on the menu. I also bring my father here, who only orders the diavola (anchovy topping) and who loves this restaurant. What more can I say? Always a great experience every time we come! Excellent food and a fantastic team. I highly recommend it, of course. And I can't wait to go back! ;)

There's no message; the answering machine just says to wait while the call is being answered. After more than 10 calls, I went to Montroy to order in person, and...it was closed! 11/11/2025: Looking for a pizzeria for lunch after the lunch rush, we chose Pizzeria Le Peyo, located on the newly redesigned and modernized seafront. Friendly welcome, intimate dining room, and a terrace out front. Quick service. Good, generous pizzas with a thin crust and quality ingredients. Out of season, they only offer a large pizza menu. One drawback: the floor needs cleaning!
