27/01/2026: The dining room was pleasant and tastefully decorated. The food was good and plentiful. However, the welcome and service from the owner were merely polite; she didn't even say goodbye. In this respect, I confirm Ghis Nod's review from two months ago. The owner replied that she was having some problems at the time, which leads me to conclude that those problems are still ongoing...

06/01/2026: Italian little surprise in this city! very helpful and kind owners. very well cooked and presented dishes the menu was full nothing to miss the prices were normal to low great variety of wines the atmosphere-decoration was simple but warm fully suggested!

11/01/2026: Martha's warm welcome is reason enough to go. The food is simple and delicious. A touch of Italy in the heart of Montélimar, and at a very reasonable price.

20/10/2025: After 1 year of abs(tin)ence, I went back to taste the Pizz'a Yan de la Bégude, and I have the impression that the level has increased. I was very pleasantly surprised. The generosity of the topping and ingredients (porcini mushrooms in particular), the quality of the dough, and the originality of the menu options (the pesto with lots of garlic is really good), is very pleasing. I think the new pizza maker is very talented (and friendly). The option to make 1 pizza made up of 2 half-and-half recipes is really cool too. I will come back to explore 👍🏽

18/01/2026: We usually get our pizzas to go, and they're always very good, but today's waitress was appalling. She didn't apologize on behalf of the establishment when I told her that two weeks prior, our pizzas weren't the ones we had ordered, and of course, she offered no compensation whatsoever. She was condescending when I asked her to open the boxes to check, since I live 4 km from the restaurant. After that, I had to insist that she admit she'd made a mistake on the bill… and still no apology. I remained polite, but this young woman seems to think she's something special, and it's a shame for the restaurant's reputation.

25/11/2024: I admit that it was chance that allowed us to discover this restaurant on a Sunday lunchtime, on our way south. And chance did things well: a warm welcome, a lovely menu with local specialties, good, well-cooked products....what more could you ask for!? Excellent quality bread to accompany the meal, as a retired catering professional I can only congratulate and encourage people to discover this restaurant off the beaten track!

24/01/2026: A disastrous culinary experience. The pizza was more like a tarte flambée than a pizza; the dough was pre-prepared (pre-cooked), extremely thin, and made with poor-quality ingredients. I ordered a calzone that looked more like a pizza folded over on itself, with far too many ingredients and undercooked. I'm surprised by this pizzeria's rating because the quality is truly lacking. In fact, it's one of the first times in my life I haven't finished a pizza.

11/08/2024: The pizzas were terrible. The crust was too thin and hard. The vegetables weren't even fresh. They had no flavor. We won't be ordering again; everything went in the bin.

16/11/2025: We came this summer. We're regulars at this restaurant because we're from Saint-Paul. My mother-in-law ordered an artichoke pizza. What a surprise, and what a shock, to find pieces of glass inside! We called the waiter and also the owner, who told us it was strange and that he would check in the kitchen. He came back to tell us that, indeed, a cook had broken a jar of artichokes and had still used the remaining artichokes to prepare the pizzas. We received an apology, but a very weak one, and despite this, we were charged for the artichoke pizza with pieces of glass. I find this unacceptable and completely unprofessional. This is the last time they'll ever see us.
