01/06/2026: My wife and I had a wonderful culinary experience for Mother's Day this Sunday. From the warm welcome and impeccable service provided by the charming and smiling Cynthia, to the equally delicious food (as always), everything was perfect. 24/05/2026: This is literally my favourite ice cream ever! We visit the area every summer and first came across it by chance on a hot afternoon in September 2024. Last summer we visited a number of times and also bought a box to have at home. I am very much looking forward to returning in a few weeks. The flavours are incredible, varied, and also cater well for dairy free. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

02/05/2026: We had a reservation for a table of nine. We called, and what I found quite strange was that our reservation wasn't for until 9:15 or 9:30 PM. We arrived around 9:15 or 9:20 PM and saw the restaurant full, but our table of nine wasn't set. We quickly realized that our table hadn't been prepared at all. So we decided to consider takeout. We asked for the menu, to which the waiter replied, "Well, just here." From the moment we had an unpleasant waiter with a haughty manner, who also dared to lie to us by saying there might be a table in 10 minutes—which is highly unlikely since the tables were full—I don't think customers come to a restaurant to eat in 20 minutes, especially in the evening! I can only say that this place is disorganized in terms of reservations. I can state this clearly because I've worked in restaurants where we've never encountered such poor organization. To perhaps teach you something, reservations take priority over walk-ins. We deliberately made a reservation to ensure you could prepare our table and avoid any surprises. Yet, in the end, we were very disappointed by the waiter's behavior. We waited from 7 pm to 9 pm, only to be very disappointed and not even served. Do you think it's possible to call a restaurant at 9:30 pm for nine people? No, I don't think so. Therefore, we are not grateful for the evening you ruined for us. What would have been better for both of us is if, when we called to make our reservation, you had politely told us it wasn't possible, that we were already fully booked, and that we couldn't risk blocking a table of nine from 7 pm to 9 pm, while apologizing. Everything would have gone smoothly. Therefore, we decided not to order, given the anticipated wait and the potential delay that could affect other customers. We left immediately without giving any further explanation, as we felt we didn't have to justify our dissatisfaction. Obviously, seeing nine people leave is disheartening, as you lose customers and money. I do not recommend this place.

01/05/2026: We had a reservation for 9 people. On the phone, they told us 9:15 PM to 9:30 PM. When we arrived at the restaurant, it was full, and we quickly realized that our reservation had not been honored. The waiter was completely unprofessional and had a very haughty manner of speaking. He even had the nerve to tell us, "I told you between 9:15 PM and 9:30 PM," knowing full well that everyone at the tables was already eating. On top of that, they had the nerve to mock us, implying that people would finish their meals, desserts, and hot drinks in 15 minutes. It's a disgrace! I absolutely do not recommend this place.

09/06/2026: We've been several times and we're never disappointed, both with the food and the service! In Nîmes, we don't go anywhere else! Everything is there for a great time! I highly recommend it! ☺️

16/05/2026: Delicious pizzas with a thin crust. The wood-fired oven makes all the difference. Special mention for the Neapolitan. Warm welcome, and a spot with a great view and a relaxed, casual atmosphere. Top-notch!

12/04/2026: A very warm and friendly welcome. Quick, efficient, and pleasant service. The pizzas were very good, well-prepared, and had excellent toppings. They went out of their way to satisfy us by making adjustments: less cheese for one, and more borage for another. Very attentive and smiling. The dessert was also excellent. The bill was very reasonable.

24/05/2026: This was our first time at Zanelli's for lunch on May 24th... The service was very pleasant, friendly, and smiling. Our main courses and dessert were very good. One minor point, which we discussed with the waiter, but I feel it's important to mention because we won't be returning during periods of intense heat. While you're not responsible for the heat on the terrace, you are somewhat responsible for the well-being of your customers and employees... The heat was stifling; we almost asked if we could eat inside... If misting systems are too expensive an investment, floor fans would be welcome to circulate some air. We will return, but when it's cooler, it's not possible; it really spoiled our otherwise delicious meal. I hope you take this as constructive criticism and not just to add a negative note.

24/05/2026: The setting and service were very good, but the pizzas frankly need improvement. The tomato sauce was bland, the cheeses were bland (for a four-cheese pizza), and they were barely cooked. We won't be back for the pizzas; you really need to improve!

While passing through Nîmes, I discovered this restaurant, which is simply a gem and truly allowed me to rediscover the authentic flavors of Sicilian cuisine. Bravo! Keep up the good work! P.S.: You make the best cannolo in France, totally comparable to the ones I'm used to and have the pleasure of eating in Sicily! ❤️
