What excellent Sardinian cuisine! And that's not even mentioning the owner's kindness and numerous thoughtful touches (white wine to welcome us, an amuse-bouche, limoncello at the end of the meal). Truly a hidden gem in Boulogne, and that's a real shame!

They used the wrong ingredients. I specifically asked for it well-cooked, but unfortunately, the egg wasn't even cooked, and the order was ruined.
It's going straight in the bin.
10/03/2026: Excellent pizza! You can taste the quality of the ingredients. The pizza maker was also very friendly.

20/12/2024: If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I joined 2 friends already seated at a table. The waiter greeted me with a big smile. The staff is friendly, available, smiling, gentle... the pizza was very good and well stocked, we can say that it is worth the price for such a restaurant. The service is fast and well-kept, the decoration of the restaurant is very elegant, as are the staff. One thing that made me happy, I dropped my knife and after just 5 seconds, the waiter exchanged the knife for me.
The toilets are very clean, there is even a small toilet seat for children.
Thanks to the restaurant staff! An address to try!

The pizzas are delicious, and the pasta is simply incredible!!
The service is attentive, nothing to complain about.
And to finish, dessert is a real treat. I personally had the chocolate mousse!

18/03/2026: To be avoided. Very unhelpful staff, fitting the Parisian waiter stereotype of rude and condescending. Because we weren't planning to have a proper dinner, they wanted us to check upstairs (with a baby wheeler) for sitting room. When we said that it might be difficult to climb with all that, they sent us to check in the back, next to the kitchen. Before even getting there, another one stopped us and said it's all reserved for dinner... Will definitely not come back here again.

08/11/2025: I absolutely loved Papa Rotti! The setting is simply magnificent: a stylish, modern, and welcoming decor that immediately puts you at ease. The service is impeccable. The staff and owners are lovely, attentive, and incredibly kind. You can really tell they love their work and are dedicated to making their customers happy.
As for the food, it's flawless! The dishes are delicious, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Special mention goes to the pizzas; they are truly incredible and undoubtedly among the best in Boulogne.
The cleanliness, the service, the atmosphere: everything is perfect. I highly recommend Papa Rotti to anyone looking for an excellent Italian restaurant in Boulogne, whether for a romantic dinner, a meal with friends, or a family gathering.
