Our travels led us there somewhat by chance, but I'm sure now that next time we go to Mont Dore, it won't be by chance that we end up there 😋 We had a wonderful meal! My advice: go!
03/01/2026: It's been a long time since I've eaten such a generously topped pizza made with fresh ingredients. Audrey and Antoine offer a very warm welcome and introduce you to delicious, fresh products. The atmosphere is cozy. Everything was excellent, a real treat, and the speculoos and red fruit tiramisu was the perfect ending to the meal. The vanilla ice cream was a delight, with a truly wonderful flavor. You absolutely must go; it's an address not to be missed.

01/06/2025: A very pleasant surprise in Mont Dore. This restaurant is clearly underrated, and this is the first time I've ever been! The food is homemade. We had a truffadée and an Auvergnate. The crust is thin, the ingredients delicious. Vegetarian friends, the Auvergnate is for you! We had a blast, our only regret: not being able to try the homemade pasta gratin with St. Nectaire cheese (which can be made without bacon!), due to lack of time to return....
Highly recommended restaurant, with pizzas noted for being "local."

25/01/2026: Honestly, I've known this pizzeria for over 30 years, I used to go there regularly with my colleagues when I worked at Place Gaillard...the best pizzas in town! And let's not even talk about the desserts!

05/07/2025: I highly recommend this restaurant! The service is impeccable, with smiling, attentive waitresses who listen to their customers. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with pizzas and aperitif cocktails, a nice surprise! The dishes are generous and delicious, with a special mention for the savory pizzas with fresh basil. The homemade hot sauce is a real plus, which demonstrates the care and seriousness brought to the kitchen. A big congratulations also to the owner, always attentive and ready to do anything to satisfy his customers. A place not to be missed!
03/07/2025: Hello, we had two menus, one for 14 and one for 16 euros. There are very few places with a starter, main course and dessert for 16 euros, and what's more, we had a great time with top-notch service. Recommended.

24/11/2025: We've come here every year and it was always great, but our recent visit was a huge disappointment. What happened?! No more friendly atmosphere, bland food, and around 9:30 pm, they open their doors wide and tell everyone to "get out." It's the end of the line for this restaurant... what a shame.
16/10/2025: While in Clermont-Fernand, we discovered this restaurant, which offers a range of flavors from Italy to Spain, and offers excellent value for money. We loved it and will be back.

05/12/2025: The owner himself was blasting Vichy songs ("Marshal, here we are..." a propaganda song glorifying Marshal Pétain and the Vichy regime) over his shop's loudspeakers on a Friday night during peak hours (8 pm), all while snickering... it's disastrously ridiculous. Let's not forget that this regime was responsible for the deportation of 76,000 Jews (children, women, and men) and 60,000 members of the Resistance... supporting, condoning, or laughing at it isn't an opinion in the sense that the freedoms of our country allow us to have; it's simply a clear sign of significant intellectual deficiencies and ignorance. Just stick to baking pizzas and saying hello with a smile. The rest seems to be beyond you.

Why offer delivery options on Uber Eats if orders are constantly being canceled? Update your delivery area; it's simpler.

The beef and Boursin pizza was very good but could have used a bit more meat.
Edit Nov 2025: For a change, I ordered a burger, and for less than €12, there's simply no comparison between the taste and the speed of service!
Between paying €25 for cardboard at McDonald's or €16 for a decent burger at Rapid, albeit smaller and more expensive, I think Chicano offers the perfect value for money.
