01/05/2026: This Italian bistro has become a must-visit for us. The owners are incredibly friendly. The best pizza dough we've ever had. Don't miss it!!! Reservations are highly recommended: they're so popular that last-minute requests are never possible.

26/05/2026: The meal was decent. The service was adequate. The cutlery needed cleaning.
And we had a huge feeling of being ripped off when the bill arrived.
We then discovered that there were two separate prices for food and drinks served inside versus on the terrace.
Since this price difference wasn't displayed anywhere, you have no right to apply it.
Review all your menus (indoor and terrace) if you want to maintain this petty practice.

16/05/2026: An Italian gem in the heart of Chalon. Passing through, we found a delicious, simple, and fresh restaurant. I will return with immense pleasure.
13/04/2026: A Sicilian cook accompanied by her Sardinian husband… a duo as beautiful as their respective islands of origin. Hearty and delicious dishes (we had parmesan risotto, salmon, and lasagna), two of which were naturally gluten-free. Exquisite almond desserts and authentic Italian espresso. Low prices considering the quality of what we ate. We'll be back!

There's no sign indicating they're apparently in a "meeting" at 7:00 PM. Does that make sense?
The least they could do is let us know, instead of making customers wait for nothing.
12/05/2026: Another visit to Del Arte restaurant, seated on a pleasant terrace.
We enjoyed a lovely tomato and mozzarella salad.
The pizza was delicious and generous.
The tagliatelle pollo pesto was good, but the quality of the chicken pieces could be improved.
Overall, good value for money.

We opted for pizzas even though the menu looked tempting. The crust was excellent and the toppings generous.
The waitresses were incredibly friendly and welcoming; it was a real pleasure.
A great meal on the terrace for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

26/05/2026: Very slow service and the main course wasn't presented properly. A one-hour wait for dessert... I don't recommend it.
09/05/2026: The restaurant is getting more and more expensive. You practically have to break the bank to get a starter, main course, and dessert; it's shameful to have such high prices because the quality isn't there. The staff's smiles are also nonexistent. They stopped serving pizza at 8:30 pm on Saturdays, and check your bill because we received extra dishes that weren't ours. The manager hides behind his position as soon as customers tell him the truth. I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST GOING THERE.

16/06/2026: Whenever we want to eat in Macon, we always come here! The food is good and the value for money is excellent! The waitresses are always smiling and the cooks are top-notch! The owners are real bon vivants, so it's a real pleasure to come to this restaurant! Besides, if you're looking for a touch of Italian style, the terrace is perfect for you! It's covered in flowers, it's magnificent!
We'll be back again and again, and that's coming from an Italian pizza expert 😉
16/06/2026: It had been a while since I'd been there, really disappointed. The pizza dough was elastic, they no longer accepted restaurant vouchers, and so on.

The owners are also so charming and attentive. I commend their availability and kindness.
The place exudes serenity within its historic walls. It has so much charm, easy parking—everything suits me perfectly. Thank you again.
05/05/2026: The setting is very beautiful, the interior charming, however, a huge disappointment at lunchtime. The service was a bit rushed, and we were told it was homemade when it wasn't (the poached egg in red wine sauce was watery, the risotto was undercooked and swimming in butter). Not great for an Italian restaurant. Coca-Cola was served by the glass, which is against the rules (€4 a glass and flat), and to top it all off, the chocolate fondant was reheated in the microwave.
A bit pricey for the mediocre quality. I don't recommend it and I'm very disappointed.

27/04/2026: A very welcoming restaurant, a fantastic waitress. The meal was thoroughly enjoyed, with home-style cooking and generous portions. The owner and the cooks are very pleasant and open to conversation. I recommend it 1000%!
PS: I'll definitely be back to eat on the terrace (yes!! there is a terrace 😘) just to have the pleasure of being served by Lubin's son.

The pizza is delicious; I even saw a worker inside making pizzas for the next day.
The prices are reasonable.
