Samouraï Sushis
Besancon
13/09/2026: Unexpectedly found a perfect Japanese restaurant opposite the station. Very extensive sushi menu, noodles, and particularly delicious tartar. Well-balanced and tasty. The ambiance could be better, but it doesn't detract from the taste experience. Highly recommended.
11/09/2026: I found this place very charming and chic, and very convenient when you get off the train. You just have to cross the street and you're there.
The food is perfect; the sushi and maki platters were excellent, everything was delicious.
The service was also perfect. The waitress who was there that evening, September 11, 2026, was smiling, pleasant, and she was very helpful in informing us and offering her advice and suggestions for our dinner choices.
The prices are reasonable, and the dining room is well-maintained, clean, and tidy.
I discovered an excellent green tea, sencha, which was just as good as the meal. I could come back just for that tea.
Thank you to the team for the warm welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Arigato Sushi House
Besancon
27/08/2026: A fantastic restaurant that deserves to be better known. The all-you-can-eat option is significantly better quality than more well-known all-you-can-eat restaurants.
20/08/2026: Very welcoming lady, homemade meals. I recommend her.

05/09/2026: I liked the food and the atmosphere.
Dining is much more than the food itself.
When you are trying a foreign cuisine it is important to sip on the local atmosphere, the whole experience is important. Here is manages to capture the atmosphere of a japanese restaurant.
One other aspect is the service and this is where this place looses.
A was a little bit unwelcoming. Not impolite but not polite either.
Still everything else is good.
03/09/2026: It's good, but you get the feeling you're bothering the waiter (third visit, same behavior every time). The welcome was incredibly cold. A shame.

Central Sushi

25/02/2024: Les sushis étaient plutôt bons dans l’ensemble, sans être géniaux non plus. Le saumon était moelleux mais pas vraiment de goût . Et le poulet tempura était dur. Avis mitigé
