10/07/2024: We were well received. It was cozy with a good atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and was well supplemented with an assortment of Japanese drinks (in addition to the well-known drinks). Please note, the "very big rolls" are for people with a big mouth 😄. The Japanese lemonade was served in a nice bottle with a ball in it. We were allowed to take this home as a souvenir, thanks again for this.
You should definitely visit this place if you are a sushi lover, but it is also a very good place to eat for people who are new to Japanese cuisine.

17/07/2024: Error when taking the order, the type of Maki was not the right one, the sushi turned into maki and the Cantonese rice was chicken instead of beef… The stir-fried noodles were not great and the Nutella Banana Maki not to our taste with the seaweed sheet. Disappointed with the meal!
11/07/2024: Finally the big return of my favorite restaurant, I have eaten there occasionally since the first opening more than 10 years ago. I couldn't wait for it to finally reopen, I ordered takeaway so haven't seen the new restaurant but I've passed by it several times since the work and it looks really nice, there's parking right in front and very good location in front of Pontarlier station. Looking forward to coming there to eat there one day, in any case for tonight I'm going to enjoy it, thanks to the Esprit Sushi team who delight me every time. Special mention for the hot California, fried salmon and avocado, I love them with the little spicy red sauce (I don't know the name of this sauce usually served with the skewers and gyoza) 😋❤️
