03/07/2026: Unwelcoming. You barely have time to order before they start shouting out the bill and demanding payment without even a greeting or a smile.
And the coffee is like dishwater.
They just want your money; they couldn't care less about your customer experience.

We came as a group during a business trip and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
The menu offers a good balance between hot and cold dishes, with several set menus at very reasonable prices.
The portions are generous and the service is quick, which is much appreciated.
Excellent value for money.
I highly recommend it!

14/07/2026: I ordered three servings of Loclac beef Laura rice. They were terrible, too sweet, and the rice was all stuck together. I don't even know what they tasted like. I left half of each serving and threw them away.

16/08/2026: As regular customers of their attractive website, I can attest that their maki menus are always excellent and delivered reliably. The portions are generous (3 x 8 maki!) and always fresh. You won't find better value for money in the area, and even when you dine in, the service is very good.

30/04/2026: Having traveled to Japan twice, I highly recommend EKE, where I found all the elements of a truly authentic Japanese restaurant.
A perfect lunch enjoyed on tatami mats.
We chose the Momiji tasting menu with Japanese hot pot and a very good sake. The discreet service was noteworthy, as it's so rare.

31/07/2026: I've ordered takeout from this little restaurant several times, and the quality is always excellent! The build-your-own menu is a great way to mix things up; it's affordable, and it even comes with soup and coleslaw. The ingredients are really good, especially the maki rolls. You can tell they're made fresh and with a lot of skill.
In addition, the online ordering website works perfectly; my order is always ready on time. So I go back regularly and I'm never disappointed.
29/07/2026: It's always a pleasure to eat here. The menus are appealing, with a build-your-own option available at a reasonable price. And the owners are very friendly.

06/07/2026: The sushi is what you would expect from an average takeaway restaurant. Of course, it could be better, but it is tasty. The fish is fresh and you also get a soup and salad. The rice in the sushi was a bit on the dry side. Still 5 stars because the staff was friendly, super fast, and the price was very reasonable. The coffee is also fine. The interior is clean and tidy, so we had a nice meal for not too much money and were back outside quickly. Feel free to go here!
