14/02/2026: Always a wonderful experience. A beautiful culinary show in a refined atmosphere. It's delicious. Don't miss the pan-smoked foie gras under a cloche for the finishing touch. It's exquisite.

14/01/2026: The sashimi was incredibly fresh, and the homemade California roll was truly unique—probably the best in all of Paris. The gyozas were delicious, and the ramen was excellent, with wonderfully chewy noodles and a perfectly balanced broth. The service was also very friendly and attentive. 😋 I loved this restaurant and will definitely be back!

07/12/2025: My first experience at Matsuya was rather mixed. But I went back once, twice, ten times, and in the end, it's truly excellent sushi. The creative rolls are really very good, and the more classic dishes are just as good. It's become my go-to sushi place; I go at least once a month.

31/01/2026: Refined, elegant, unusual, nothing to complain about, a very good restaurant in a remarkable Japanese setting. However... some imperfections: the amuse-bouche was underwhelming (especially the dumpling), the sake pairing with the fish was disappointing, the duck meat was tough to carve on two plates and on another had a blackened crust with a strong burnt taste, and the single petit four was insignificant. Despite this, it was an interesting culinary experience. The desserts were a highlight. There was an annoying little game after each course of asking what we had eaten (dishes not described beforehand). But the biggest frustration was the miserably small portions. Barely a bite per course. Added to this were the wine (and sake) glasses for the pairing that were only minimally filled. It was frustrating to leave hungry and with the impression that everything was stingy and limited (in fact, they tell you repeatedly that the chef's specialty is trying to cook without leaving any waste). In conclusion, it was good, but with a bitter aftertaste.

17/01/2026: A superb Parisian restaurant, once again helmed by a Japanese chef (but we never tire of it). A major asset of the restaurant is its ambiance, which instantly transports you to the Land of the Rising Sun. The cuisine is precise, fresh, and impeccably executed. Special mention goes to the service, which perfectly complements the setting and atmosphere. Bravo!

14/12/2025: I came using the 50% off offer from TheFork. It's definitely worth it, but only the à la carte dishes are included. The portions are normal and the service is okay. The food is quite typical for a Japanese restaurant. I recommend it.
