26/03/2024: Truly delicious, simple and super authentic. Like in Japan. The cook was adorable with his big smile and his kindness. YUM, what a good meal I ate.
16/03/2024: 5* for the excellent quality-quantity-price ratio. Small, tiny Japanese restaurant, but very good food. I went there twice, the crispy chicken with sweet soy and yuzu sauce is delicious (I forgot the Japanese name, torikatsu tonkatsu don?, 16.50), the vegetable lamen are tasty. The miso soup is also very tasty. I know that some colleagues often take out... it's a good sign, especially since the quantities are generous and in the kitchen they are quick. At lunchtime, it's better to arrive before 12:15 p.m. or after 1:30 p.m. if you want a table, otherwise it's full.

17/03/2024: Very good restaurant, the service is remarkable, very pleasant and welcoming waitresses. I really enjoyed it. restaurant also beautiful inside. I was greeted by a very young waitress who immediately put me at ease. I am absolutely not disappointed with the detour, I recommend this restaurant 100%!!!

15/03/2024: I'm posting this positive but more nuanced opinion: the fish is fresh and the sushi is very good but not enough to blow your mind either. Most Parisian sushi is very average, stay at this address if you don't want to be disappointed.
Don't expect to take a taste trip to Japan as some comments suggest 💭

12/03/2024: A small restaurant where you absolutely have to book but for pleasure, you absolutely have to choose the fish trio.
17/02/2024: Superb experience, the top chef is a treat both on the plate and in the eyes and always smiling and funny he gave us a great show the beef was tender a real delight and our table companions that we didn't know were very friendly it’s a very good address to remember

And decent food but below the good Japanese restaurants that I like, especially for the price.

26/03/2024: 1st visit a few months ago: I found it OK but barely. I'm going back today and having a really good bento.
Skewers: meh the same as elsewhere (same brand of frozen food I think)
Gyoza: very good and well grilled on one side
Sashimi: very good but small
Sushi: good but not firm enough rice in my opinion
Rice: white, short
Coconut pearls (I wanted something sweet to finish): blah blah like elsewhere
I leave with a good feeling.
On the other hand, no wifi even though I like to have lunch alone with my laptop for when I'm waiting.
22/03/2024: Very good restaurant in the corner of the Champs Elysées with excellent value for money. A soup with shrimp tempura, spring rolls, sushi, cirubashi and sushi platters to share. A huge choice to find what you're looking for.
I recommend and vegetarians welcome :)

24/01/2024: It may be called Matignon, but it's not a dinner at the Élysée. Question: has the chef ever been to Japan? It's like Canada Dry: the dishes have the color of Japan, the style of Japan, but it's not Japanese cuisine. So what is it ? In our opinion, it is a "concept".
Servers who have not been trained for a restaurant that wants to be chic. Sleek decoration without heat. Salty addition.

€41 per bento. It's complete rubbish!
It's good but not incredible and you shouldn't be too hungry.
Better to go to the 9th for 3 times cheaper and better.
