07/07/2026: Before coming, I was hoping to find some of the flavors I'd discovered during my trip to Japan, but I was sorely disappointed. The rice was dry and sorely lacking in flavor, which is a shame for a Japanese restaurant. The sushi was rather ordinary, not bad, but nothing memorable. On the other hand, the skewers were excellent and definitely raised the bar. As for the service, the welcome lacked warmth and friendliness. Finally, the restaurant is very cramped: the tables are close together and you quickly feel confined, which doesn't help you fully enjoy your meal.

03/07/2026: I am very disappointed with my experience at this establishment. It was my first time at Sushi Shop and, unfortunately, my last. The welcome was cold and the quality of the food was disappointing. The tuna in the cooked tuna/avocado/mayo California rolls seemed to be of poor quality, poorly drained, and served in too small a portion; the mayonnaise was also missing. As for the tempura/spicy mayo California rolls, the tempura was undercooked and the spicy sauce was missing. I pointed out these shortcomings to the employee on duty. Although he offered to remake the order, my appetite had been ruined. For a total of €14.80 (12 California rolls and a coleslaw, without a drink), the value for money was very disappointing. I almost wished for a refund.

13/06/2026: When I get tired of eating only bread, I crave rice. The prices are also more reasonable compared to other stores.

11/06/2026: I went there for my lunch break, and the onigiri were at room temperature, which is unfortunately rare! I was full after just two. Good value for money, the miso soup was excellent with wonderfully tender tofu. The staff was very friendly! I'll definitely go back to try other flavors.

29/03/2026: I had been to Peco Peco a couple of times before and remembered it being quite good, so this last visit was a bit disappointing. Nothing was particularly bad, but nothing really stood out either. The kimchi didn’t feel homemade, the texture and taste were more like something from a jar. The fried chicken was the biggest letdown: dry, no crispiness, no coating, and lacking flavor or sauce to make it interesting. The skewers were decent, and the mochi ice cream was very good, but overall there was no real “wow” factor this time.

09/06/2026: I had the chicken ramen with parsley and herbs, and it was excellent! It was takeout, and I appreciated that they separated the broth and chicken without me having to ask, so I could mix it myself. I didn't have to wait long, and the staff was friendly. It was worth the price! 👍🏽

06/06/2026: The value for money was disastrous. I paid 14 euros for five noodles swimming in broth and two slices of pork that were practically fighting each other. You have to pay extra for eggs, and the Naruto (a type of fried egg) was so thin you could practically see through it. The bowls are very wide and only half-filled to give the impression of more food; you'll still be hungry after your meal 🤡 The servers were very nice, but the decor is incredibly kitschy.

03/07/2026: Too expensive for the portion sizes, and it's good, but the portions... Using the tapas concept to justify serving portions and then making them so small isn't great.

26/05/2026: The service was very friendly and welcoming, and the miso soup, salad, meat skewers, sushi, and dessert were all delicious, fresh, and, most importantly, inexpensive! It's a million times better than many of the (noisy and cramped) tourist traps around the corner. There's plenty of space, and it's not very busy (though I've never seen so many delivery services coming and going). We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!
