08/03/2026: I had my order delivered tonight, and the size of the maki rolls is simply ridiculous. What's worse is that they have absolutely no flavor. As if that weren't enough, there was a tiny packet of wasabi and ginger, along with an equally small sauce, for a 20-piece order. I find that excessive, although I can understand the reasoning given the size of the maki... I'm extremely disappointed. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

It was a wonderful discovery! We traveled during our meal, which reminded us of Japan ❤️ The chef presented each dish to us, and we were able to chat with her; it was very enriching!

Also, the matcha sushi wasn't really green like in the picture; the photo is misleading. I thought it was a true matcha green, just a little powder on top.
The sushi wasn't very fresh.

19/03/2026: We're regulars at Kampai. We always receive a warm welcome. The food is good. Our 6-year-old son loves their shrimp tempura. It's a very good restaurant. The servers are very attentive. We thank them for their kindness this evening for our son's birthday.

The eel shirashi was perfect. A true display of professionalism.
03/03/2026: We ate at this restaurant with friends, and despite our late arrival, they kindly agreed to seat us for lunch!
We had a wonderful meal; the fish was of excellent quality, and the sushi and sashimi were superb.
They even let us finish our meal without any problem, even though the restaurant had closed!
I thoroughly enjoyed the "petit bateau" (a small boat-shaped dish), which exceeded my expectations!
I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for Japanese food in Versailles!

It was our first and last time.
18/01/2026: An exceptional Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere is discreet, calm, and intimate, ideal for a relaxing moment. The service is attentive and precise, without ever being intrusive. The quality of the ingredients is rare, with perfectly balanced and expertly executed flavors. A hidden gem for lovers of authentic and refined Japanese cuisine.

26/01/2026: So, be warned, I've eaten here several times and I really enjoyed it. But yesterday, our bo bun and pho soup were lukewarm.
So, the kitchen needs to improve.
Otherwise, the restaurant is very clean, with decorative lamps in a Vietnamese hat style. The food is good. We had spring rolls, bo bun, and pho soup. It's close to the Palace of Versailles, Versailles Rive Gauche train station, and St. Louis Cathedral.
23/01/2026: Tiny portion, no respect, undercooked meat (photo attached). The soup was absolutely disgusting. She was just trying to take my money.

A tasteless meal (order of beef and cheese skewer and samon and chicken spring roll sushi).
Waiters, who are barely friendly, don't speak or almost, spend their time on the phone in front of the window.
