21/08/2026: Lovely restaurant, warm welcome. The three of us came for lunch. The set menu was beautifully presented and delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert. We hope to return very soon to try the rest of the menu.
21/08/2026: A lovely culinary experience. However, a minor drawback concerns the glassware and the wine list by the glass, which clearly doesn't live up to the quality of the food served.

31/05/2026: We had a fabulous prix fixe dinner. Service was fabulous. Beautiful hotel and restaurant. I did not rate the hotel because we did not stay there. If the people that work at the hotel are as half as nice as the people that worked at the restaurant, it would be a great stay. Back to the prix fixe. Every plate was amazing. We did get too many chef’s presents. Because of the size and how delicious it was, I thought we states on appetizers. I was wrong. The chef’s presents, the appetizers, the two main entrees, the two desserts - so lovely. We did the wine paring with the prix fixe. It was a great pairing. Fabulous restaurant. I’d you are I the area, you need to stop and grab a bite of something. You will not be disappointed.

I ordered a multi-fruit cake for 20 people. It was excellent and a generous portion!
The phone service when I placed the order was warm and professional. When I picked up my beautiful cake, I was greeted in the same way by a very friendly saleswoman!
I highly recommend this bakery and I will definitely be back (to try the bread too).

08/12/2025: It's a disgrace! We get a snide remark when we show up with 3 people instead of 4, and then we have a reservation with a €60 deposit made that morning. They cancel the reservation an hour before by text message. It's a disgrace, Madam!

I did get a delicious vegetarian pizza, though. Pizza as it should be, with lots of vegetables and cheese on top.
17/04/2026: I've been a customer for years and these are honestly the best pizzas in Dole! Quality ingredients and a satisfying meal.

13/08/2026: A friendly restaurant; we come here from time to time. Very welcoming, a good selection, tasty dishes, and the value for money is still reasonable, even if the prices have gone up a bit, but that's the same everywhere... around €110 for four people with drinks, and we left feeling very satisfied.
We'll definitely be back.
11/08/2026: We went there for lunch today and enjoyed our meals; I highly recommend it. The staff were welcoming.

27/08/2026: A must-visit spot in Dole, it offers a superb view of Little Venice, and the cocktails are great. The snacks are worth trying. Friendly staff, lovely interior atmosphere.
19/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A lovely break at Café Charles after our walk! We enjoyed a delicious ice cream in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. With a wheelchair and a stroller, the welcome and accessibility were much appreciated. A lovely place to relax and refresh after a nice walk. We'll gladly come back! 😊

As always when I order takeout, something is missing. Either a full meal like tonight, or a milkshake, or fries, or the pizza I ordered isn't the right one. Frankly, I think it's best to stop ordering online, or simply not go there anymore. My disappointment stems from the fact that this isn't the first time.
26/06/2026: This is the last time. Since the move, the quality has declined, but more importantly, the price has skyrocketed: €32 for two pizzas delivered.
The delivery was a disaster. The driver calls to say he's there, but no one is home. He insists he's at the right address, but in the end, yes, it's the right address, but not the right town.
And what a surprise when we unpacked the pizzas! The toppings are stuck to the lid of the box.
It's pathetic. That's it. Next time, we'll make them ourselves. 😁 As the saying goes, if you want something done right, do it yourself.
It's a real shame that this Dole institution has declined to this extent.
As mentioned above, for us, it's over, over, over.
