We particularly enjoyed the foie gras, and the quality and cooking of the fish were perfect! The parsnip dessert, while a bit daring, was a real discovery! Thank you for this experience; we will be back.

15/02/2026: We celebrated Valentine's Day at this restaurant! It was impeccable; the chef and owner presented his own take on cuisine. The menu was €55 plus wine. The service was excellent, friendly and smiling. I was seated opposite the kitchen, and the chef clearly knows his stuff. Everything was spotless, from the cleanliness to the quality of the work. I spent 52 years in a kitchen; I know what's good and beautiful when I see it. I will gladly return to try the specialties at Le Goustut.

30/11/2025: The mezze format is quite nice, and the food is of a good standard. It's a shame the service isn't up to the same standard. We ordered a glass of wine, and the waitress offered us a taste before pouring it. After tasting it, we decided to order something else. The waitress then clumsily remarked, "If I had known, I wouldn't have opened the bottle." The standard practice in the industry is to offer customers a taste before serving them wine. There's no harm done if a customer changes their mind when it comes to wine by the glass. This kind of behavior detracts from the customer experience and undermines the work of the kitchen. It's a shame.

18/09/2025: A wonderful surfing experience! Our instructor, Rogerio, was a great teacher. He was attentive and observant, a great combination for progressing. The surf spot is suitable for both beginners and experienced surfers. I recommend this school!

We went all-in on lobster — a velvety bisque, a perfectly balanced salad, and a flawlessly cooked main that let the sweetness of the lobster speak for itself. Every plate felt refined without trying too hard. Even the vegetable medley was so perfectly prepared, you find yourself wishing for just one more bite. An unapologetically gourmand dessert that sealed the evening perfectly. Attentive, polished service elevated the evening, especially Cédric, who thoughtfully arranged our reservation. Finished with a stunning gourmet dessert. Intimate, understated, and exactly where you want to be for a special night in Capbreton. 🦞✨

13/03/2026: What can I say… I was truly pleasantly surprised to finally find a real restaurant in Capbreton! This one is run by a lovely couple. They offer beautiful local produce; you couldn't find anything closer. The owner is a very good cook himself, offering modern cuisine and dishes you wouldn't be able to make at home. It's a real treat; you can tell he cooks with passion. The portions are just right, the cooking is perfect, and the flavor combinations are very interesting. His wife provides friendly, pleasant, and impeccable service. Well done to them!! We wish them all the best and will gladly return.

09/03/2026: A meal for two to celebrate an anniversary. We loved it. Admittedly, it was March, so it was rather quiet. But the setting, the welcome, and the quality of the food and wine were all top-notch. I highly recommend it.

Thank you for lending us the hat ☺️ The terrace is very pleasant, the service is impeccable, and the friendliness is much appreciated. The food was delicious and generous 😋. The only slight drawback is the price, which seems a little high to me, but with such a view, I suppose it's justified. Thank you for this very pleasant moment for us and for our little dog, who enjoyed her bowl of fresh water.
