25/08/2026: Honestly, one word: unforgettable. From the moment you walk through the door, you know you'll be treated like royalty throughout your meal. The welcome is warm and friendly, leaving you eager to see what's next. A very insightful wine recommendation allowed us to enjoy our dinner with an excellent glass. And the meal itself was divine. The cuisine is truly exceptional. Everything is prepared with love, and it shows. The dishes are bursting with flavor and finesse. Everything was exquisite. The advice given at the beginning of the meal proved spot on: two savory plates, one sweet, and you leave with a full stomach, even if you have a sweet tooth! Finally, I'd like to conclude by saying that this restaurant is a must-try and you absolutely must stop by. Don't misunderstand me from reading this review; I don't know the owner, hahaha. I simply want to acknowledge the investment the restaurant owners have put into the entire service to ensure we have a wonderful experience. This is a place run by passionate people who do their work with heart and a desire to do things well, and it shows, it's palpable, and it's felt. Thank you for this time spent in your company, which has left us with a delightful family memory. And go for it!!! You won't be disappointed. :)

13/08/2026: Terrace with a lovely view. Warm welcome and excellent food. Delicious homemade fries and perfectly prepared mussels. The menu is reasonably priced and everything is homemade.

15/09/2026: Excellent, we enjoy it every time. It's a bit cramped inside; it's a shame to be right next to the kitchen (noise and smells) and the toilets. But otherwise, it's fantastic.

06/09/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant on Saturday evening; there were five of us. The welcome was warm, the place pleasant, and the food excellent and plentiful. The ingredients were fresh and well-prepared. The staff was friendly and smiling. It's refreshing to see restaurants still using fresh, local produce and not frozen products like so many in Capbreton. Thank you!

02/09/2026: A rather memorable experience, but unfortunately not for the right reasons. The rice was probably the worst I've ever eaten in a restaurant: the texture and taste of a reheated Uncle Ben's bag, and even then, I think Uncle Ben's would have won the comparison. We both had piperade as a side dish. Mine was okay; my partner's was practically inedible, it was so peppery. We're still trying to understand how two piperades served at the same table could have such radically different seasonings. The grilled albacore tuna, which I was particularly looking forward to, was far too overcooked and so dry that you almost needed the side dish to be able to swallow it. For the starter, the salad was advertised with gizzards and smoked duck breast. You clearly had to look closely to see the duck breast: a half-slice, about 2 cm thick, seemed to constitute the entire portion. More of an afterthought than an ingredient. But the real highlight of the experience was the service. The young waitress was particularly unpleasant: constant sighing, not a single polite word, and we even overheard her speaking rudely to the next table simply because the customers were asking for more cutlery. We almost felt like we were intruding on her presence. In short, between the makeshift rice, the piperade's Russian roulette, the dried-out tuna, the limited-edition duck breast, and the warm welcome of a prison guard, it's hard to recommend the experience. Once was enough for us.

29/08/2026: After asking three times, I had to get up myself before my son could get his ketchup. His fries were almost gone! The list of syrups ended with a simple "the usual syrups." A prison door would have been more welcoming. Arriving at 7:45 PM and leaving at 9:30 PM is a bit long for two people with a child... Especially since the tables of four around us were served and left before us.

23/08/2026: Excellent restaurant in the heart of Capbreton! We dined on the lovely terrace. The welcome and service, managed by a single person, were impeccable, as was the cuisine, which was delicate and delicious, also prepared by one person. Well done! We will definitely be back next summer.

22/08/2026: He refuses to sit on the terrace for a drink at 5:30 pm because he's preparing dinner. Oh, right. The same people who will complain about the lack of revenue at the end of the season on social media.

26/08/2026: When a restaurant has stood the test of time for so long, it's for a reason. From its beginnings on the pedestrian street to the present day, the welcome has always been just as warm, the local produce is of the highest quality, showcased by refined cuisine and delightful flavor combinations. The place is intimate, the terrace with its plane tree is incredible. A cozy little haven at the entrance to the port. If there could only be one, it would be MB.

22/08/2026: I expected more from this restaurant, as there aren't many in Capbreton. The terrace was very pleasant, and the service was excellent. However, we were a little disappointed with the food. The starter was rather ordinary and lacked any real flavor. As for the main course, the veal rump was of average quality and overcooked. A shame.

10/08/2026: On July 8, 2026, we visited this restaurant for the fourth time. We ordered three lobster menus (over €100 per person), and when dessert arrived, we were in for a very unpleasant surprise: the meringue served with the ice cream was infested with several live ants. It was horrifying to open a dessert and find insects inside. Some ants were even crawling around on the plate. We pointed this out to the waiter, who took the plate away, and when he returned, he had left the same meringue, having simply removed the ants. Unacceptable. Furthermore, we weren't even offered any compensation. We will never return.

09/08/2026: For our fourth visit (July 8, 2026), I must express my disappointment: there were live ants in the meringue dessert. The waiter offered no apology and no gesture of goodwill (not even a complimentary coffee). We think this will be our last visit. This was our third time at the Regalty. The owner hadn't noted our reservation, but to make up for it, he offered us a complimentary aperitif. The all-lobster menu is simply fantastic. See you next year.

28/08/2026: Passing through town, we stopped at this small, artisanal bakery and pastry shop. Beautifully laid out. Very clean. The staff was very pleasant and smiling. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Espresso served with little chocolates. This bakery is located across from the beach. I recommend it 1000%!

22/08/2026: 2024 - I stopped by after a surf session around 11:15 and ordered the Full Brunch. It was delicious, generous portions, and a great variety of items. Thank you so much, I'll be back! 2026 - I had brunch again after an early morning surf session, still very good and top-notch. Thank you!
