08/07/2026: I'm very disappointed they didn't reply. I would have liked to try this restaurant, even if they're fully booked. The least they could do is respond, plus their voicemail is full and they hang up immediately.
So, it doesn't make me want to try it.

30/07/2026: We absolutely love the café on the square! It's even our go-to spot for weekend getaways and holidays. And if you like duck confit, tender, melt-in-your-mouth meat, and razor clams with parsley, go for it without hesitation. Right now they have a really nice seafood platter. I'm generally quite picky, and I'm never disappointed.

21/07/2026: For the past three years, Belhara has been our go-to restaurant for a unique getaway during peak tourist season 🙏
Unfortunately, we can't consider ourselves regulars 😅 But we're always warmly welcomed! The staff is friendly and attentive. A true delight on the plate 😊 Bravo and thank you for this wonderful interlude!

23/06/2026: Why not one star? I've already given my opinion on TripAdvisor.
As a regular customer of this establishment for decades, every year we treat ourselves to the lobster menu... before a small glass of champagne, and then things went downhill...
The amuse-bouches... four olives... Classy... unheard of... Apparently, that's how it's done now, period.
How petty... shameful... the waiters were embarrassed... what a shame... one small detail that ruins everything... unacceptable.
I won't be back.

The ingredients are fresh and local, the cooking is refined, and the combinations are surprising, like the bay leaf ice cream paired with roasted apricots. Take the time to pause, slow down time for a moment, and let yourself be guided, as we were, by the €60 tasting menu.

28/06/2026: Great little shop, you can really tell everything is homemade with love. The welcome and service are warm and friendly. It's the first time we've come across a shop that serves not one but TWO crêpes for €4.50! A guaranteed treat! We'll be back!
09/06/2026: We contacted them for our wedding on June 6th and we weren't disappointed. The cake was incredible and magnificent. I recommend them 1000%!

10/08/2026: It's been years since I last set foot in there (since the store's renovation). There's no comparison; now it's clean, bright, and tidy... Quite a few checkouts...
Some product categories are available that aren't at some competitors.
However, the parking lot is still tiny, especially during the summer season.
The prices are much higher than in the Gironde region and even compared to some local competitors (for the same product and brand).
Will I go back? I'm not sure.

06/08/2026: Excellent experience! We were a group and, despite not having a reservation, the staff found us a table very quickly. The welcome was warm, the service efficient, and the food delicious. The restaurant is friendly and the atmosphere very pleasant. A great place where you can come without a reservation and not necessarily wait long. We highly recommend it!
04/08/2026: We waited an hour and a half, only to be told there weren't enough mussels for our table.
The mussels were swimming in curry sauce, and after eating about ten, we couldn't even taste them anymore. They were also quite small.
The fries were frozen.
The prawns were good.
The staff left much to be desired, with a lack of friendliness. The worst part was when we were asked to hurry up so they could clear our table...

01/06/2026: The hotel is very well located, clean, and quiet. The bedding was perfect. The room with a balcony overlooking the port was very pleasant. There was a wide selection at breakfast with good quality products. We highly recommend it and will definitely return.
25/05/2026: Passing through Capbreton, we spent a few days at this hotel. There was only one room left, so we booked a family room for €177.
Firstly, we could have benefited from a discount since there were two of us and the room was actually two separate rooms. We didn't use the second room.
Then, we were informed that the room didn't have air conditioning, but that the ocean air would cool us down in the evening. Not at all! It was stiflingly hot in the room until 2 a.m.! Not even a fan!
We finally fell asleep around 2 a.m.! It's a shame because the hotel is quite pleasant, the rooms are clean and well laid out with comfortable beds.
But a room without air conditioning for €177 is far too expensive.
