No reservations (why bother with customer comfort, right?) If you come alone to reserve a table, well, tough luck, you have to be a full group! "But have a drink at the bar while you wait!" Sure, if I want, and while I wait for what? For everyone to cut in front of me? Paper plates, so-so mussels, friendliness on the menu, but next year, stinking garbage containers next to the tables. In short, it's a kitchen nightmare, but in Hossegor. A tourist trap to be avoided at all costs. 08/11/2025: This restaurant was recommended to me. I checked on Google to see if it was open that day, and it said it was. I drove two hours only to find it was closed. I ended up going to another restaurant instead; it's a shame they don't update the hours and dates on Google.

08/03/2026: We simply came for lunch on a whim. The meal was good and we had a pleasant time. The view from the terrace is truly beautiful, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The waiter was very friendly and attentive, and the service was pleasant and relaxed. A lovely place where you can enjoy a good meal with a beautiful view. We will gladly return.

30/12/2025: The hotel is very well located in Capbreton. There's no parking on site, but parking is available nearby. The welcome was very professional and friendly. The room was simple but pleasant and very clean. Excellent breakfast. Very good value for money.

04/03/2026: The owner was very unfriendly, and the service was awful. She served us scalding hot coffees, and when we asked for a little milk to cool them down, she refused. They don't have ice, and the takeaway coffees don't have lids. We are Spanish and spoke to her in French, but she didn't even try to slow down so we could understand her. Avoid this place because of the terrible service.

27/12/2025: The sunny terrace at the end of the year was a real draw. What a pleasant surprise! My savory waffle was excellent, and the rest of the family enjoyed their paninis. The service was quick. The kitchen looked particularly clean, and the welcome was very friendly. We highly recommend it!

23/03/2026: When I have a bad opinion about a restaurant, I prefer not to give my opinion! But this is the worst I've ever seen. We had chosen 2 different dishes, and the person who took the order practically forced us to order the zarzouelle for 2 people at 64 euros, which was supposedly very generous: 2 fillets of sea bream, 2 fillets of hake, prawns, scallops, mussels. In fact, there was (per person) one shrimp, a tiny, poorly cleaned fish fillet (the dark skin was still visible where the fish was gutted), and another piece of fish riddled with bones—a dozen or so in each fillet, no exaggeration. There were also mussels, lots of tiny, dry mussels that had been cooked and recooked, a rubbery scallop, and, to top it all off, half a raw potato in the center, a few peas, some hard croutons, a little grated cheese, and aioli. It was like the fisherman's stew you find in the frozen food section of supermarkets. We waited at least 45 minutes before being served. They must have been short-staffed; the poor waitress was completely lost. She'd arrive with the dishes, and no one knew where to take them. They'd send them back to the kitchen, or they'd put the plates down on the wrong table and then take them away again. In 45 minutes, we witnessed this chaos. The person who took our order was just milling about instead of clearing the table to help others, telling us it would be here soon, and bringing us some shrimp to tide us over. Even the bartender, who was supposed to be making desserts, had to go into the dining room. Kudos to the staff who kept smiling throughout the entire service. On the other hand, the rum baba with the infused rum was good!

10/02/2026: Restaurant in the port of Capbreton. Beautiful dining room. Friendly welcome. Excellent service. Diverse and varied menu. The seafood platter was delicious. I highly recommend it.

09/02/2026: Having never been able to contact the establishment to report the incidents and speak with a manager, I am writing this review, which I hope will prompt a response from management and a contact with me. It will soon be four years to the day since we became very ill after eating the seafood platter at this restaurant. We should have taken it back because the smell was very strong in the car, but we lived far away. While my review wasn't published at the time, it is particularly relevant now, given that it's Valentine's Day. Of course, we will be going elsewhere. Raw seafood requires a great deal of caution.
