28/07/2026: How can I simply describe the experience of this past Saturday evening? Wonderful in every way. First, the very warm and attentive welcome, with a consistent theme throughout the meal. We felt privileged, treated like VIPs without any pretense. As for the meal, we opted for the full three-course meal (starter, main, and dessert) to savor as many dishes as possible. There wasn't a single flaw, and we discovered flavors from a kitchen clearly prepared with passion. A nice touch was the infused rum we enjoyed as an aperitif. A big thank you to the owner (or at least I presume he is) and the chef for sharing this experience. Living 600km away, I rarely visit your area, but I will definitely repeat this experience for another 5-star convivial moment.

We stopped at this restaurant during our weekend in the area. According to our children, Thomas, 11, and Alexis, 7, from Versailles to Saint-Lary, you are the best restaurant of all.
26/07/2026: Not many changes to the menu. The fries are still poorly cooked and not at all crispy.

06/06/2026: Exceptional service in a remarkable setting – that's how I would sum up our guest experience! The owner is charming, cultured, and delightful, with exceptional service and wonderful little touches. The restaurant lives up to this, with the added bonus of high-quality dishes, a diverse menu, beautiful presentation, and elegant décor. The same can be said for the accommodation, which exudes tradition and bygone values – everything that allows Parisian city dwellers like us to escape. If you're looking for an experience different from the usual high-end hotel fare, don't hesitate to visit the Relais de la Tour, chat with the owner, explore the beautiful Sologne region, and sample the restaurant, whose chef is also the owner.
A must-visit!
31/05/2026: We stayed two nights at the Relais de la Tour, a charming and authentic hotel. However, we couldn't sleep because there was no way to regulate the room temperature, which was unbearably high, even after a significant drop in temperature on the second night. Buoyed by PSG's second consecutive Champions League victory, we arrived at the Relais for a drink on Saturday evening, which was served by the owner. If I had been informed beforehand of the drink prices (€12 for a Get 27), I would have immediately returned to my sweltering room.

02/08/2026: But it's SO SLOW...
And it's a puff pastry bakery, so the products are good.
And as usual in puff pastry shops, the service is very slow, but this one is the worst I've ever experienced... even in the morning when there are 5 or 6 people, and lots of employees, only one person serves (two if it's our lucky day). It's so SLOW...
Even if everyone only buys a few pastries, we spend ages waiting...
It makes you wonder if the employees have been instructed to serve people extremely slowly so we look at the products and everything else. So, the solution is to check if there's a long queue and turn around and leave if there is.
But the products are good, and despite everything, the employees are smiling and polite.
But unfortunately, I hardly ever go there anymore. I prefer to go to the Patapain bakery at the roundabout, because at least you're served faster.
26/07/2026: The evening staff are really not friendly. But the bread is delicious.
