04/02/2026: We discovered this unique place quite by chance, and what a wonderful find it was!
We enjoyed a meal in this superb little courtyard, full of charm and tranquility despite being completely full.
The cuisine was exquisite, the dishes refined, and the staff top-notch (we were served by a fellow Alsatian who happened to be passing through 😉). All in all, a magnificent discovery that we highly recommend. We'll be passing nearby again this summer, and we'll definitely make the detour.

01/02/2026: Le Relais des Braconniers was a very pleasant surprise.
The cuisine is authentic and refined, featuring primarily local and high-quality ingredients. The waitress was incredibly attentive, always smiling, professional, and efficient.
The setting, familiar from the previous establishment, remains very inviting.
We will be back.
Well done and thank you to the entire team!

08/11/2025: I couldn't judge the food because the restaurant was full, but the welcome was cold and rude. We simply asked if a table was available, and the response was, "Well, you can see that all the tables are taken, so no. We were just passing through, so we don't know the place, but that's no reason to speak like that."
26/10/2025: Very bad experience. After being seated at the table, we ordered a pizza and a starter to share. A few minutes later, the chef came to ask us to leave the premises, in an aggressive tone and insulted us, considering that our order was "not enough which is totally unacceptable". A blatant lack of respect and professionalism. We left and surprised by his lamentable attitude. Too bad, because we had simply come to have a pleasant time.

16/09/2024: Personnel certes sympathique. Restaurant avec pourtant avis du" Guide du routard ". Avons pris deux faux filets.....la viande très très dur....n'avons évidemment pas terminé. Dommage! L'avons signalé à la serveuse et au moment du règlement, s'est excusée et nous a dit qu'elle avait eu la même remarque le midi....vraiment regrettable ! Mauvais rapport qualité prix ! Si nous repassons par St.Aignan nous n'y retournerons pas. Désolé, il faut dire les choses....
11/09/2024: Un faux filet qui devait être cuit à point mais qui était saignant même après son retour en cuisine. Une viande rouge de mauvaise qualité. Le routard devrait revoir sa copie malgré des Serveuses très efficaces.

Place renovated and clean overall (presence of nebula bugs to report anyway.
Breakfast with little choice.
31/03/2024: No sound insulation, we were able to enjoy the neighbor's telephone conversation in the evening and be woken up in the early morning by all her comings and goings.
Musty smell in the room and dirty floor
Shower with cold water
Paid parking but very poorly arranged
Price paid 160€ per night this establishment is not even worth half of it
They happily abuse their proximity to the zoo.
To summarize, an establishment to avoid!

17/11/2024: Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans ce restaurant, le lieu est très beau. Le service rapide et le personnel très aimable. Les pizzas était très bonne maigres le prix un peu excessif.

Le service est rapide malgré une salle comble. Les pizzas sont particulièrement bien garnies et excellentes. Nous recommandons vraiment cet endroit!

07/11/2024: A shame to offer such dishes.
The starters can go and the same goes for the cheese and dessert part.
On the other hand, the dishes are really very low-end, nothing is homemade.
Everything is industrial but really in economic mode. On the other hand, the price remains high.
Even the children's menu leaves something to be desired: breaded chicken and fries. We really need to realize that we can’t just do that to our children!

13/07/2024: Superbe endroit, très bon repas et prix vraiment correct. Le patron est une personne accueillante et vraiment sympathique on s'y sent vraiment bien.
Nous reviendrons si nous repassons dans le coin c'est sur.

On recommande ce lieu convivial.
20/05/2024: Petite brasserie sympa, patron très sympathique, repas simple mais très bon.
En plus ce qui est de plus en plus rare les animaux sont acceptés et une gamelle d eau leur ai proposé.

14/09/2024: Déçu... Pour 26€ par personne, la qualité est digne d'une cantine scolaire. Si vous aimez les frites et les desserts surgelés, ce buffet sera parfait pour vous.
26/08/2024: Nous avons réservé 1 table pour 4 personnes. Les 2 files avançait plus bien en même temps. Vaut mieux réservé quand même sinon vous êtes pas prioritaire. Au niveau des plats il y avait pas mal de choix et toujours remplis au fur et mesure. Pour un buffet à volonté dans un zoo, on a trouvé ça correct. Ce qu'il se plaint je penses que c'est les petits bobos 😅
