The cuisine is excellent and tasty.
The terrace is not too busy and allows you to quietly enjoy the beautiful sun.
Waitress and cook are very friendly and smiling.

30/08/2024: On the way back from our vacation, we stopped for lunch. The welcome was pleasant but that will be our only compliment. Dish of the day: homemade mayo fried sausage, what a disaster! The fries were black, I refused them. My wife accepted them but wondered if the cooking oil was changed regularly? The sausage was tasteless and let's not talk about the homemade mayo... for dessert it will be useful to review the recipe for a crumble, the dough on top is not made only of sugar.
Of course my comments were made to the boss before writing my opinion, you have to know how to listen to criticism, something that the boss did not accept. However, I wish you good luck.

Why has this restaurant declined so much?
28/11/2025: A new menu! That's great. Quick service! A nice little addition that's perfect for people like me who prefer cheese to dessert. Gorgonzola Pera, gorgonzola mousse, caramelized pears, basil biscuits. Finally, a cheese "dessert"! A great idea, just needs a little tweaking. The mousse is delicious, the biscuits are perhaps a bit too thick, making it a little heavy, and the pears, for me, aren't caramelized enough and lack a melt-in-your-mouth texture. But it's so nice to see this on a menu. Thank you!

The service is fast, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is truly pleasant. You feel right at home, with a regular and friendly clientele. A real pleasure to spend time there.

18/10/2024: Fatigué de mon déplacement mais ayant faim, j'ai choisi seulement un plat : des pâtes Alfredo, mais déception, les tagliatelles étaient coupées, la crème fraîche était plutôt fade et surtout un soi-disant émincé de poulet qui se trouve être en fait des morceaux de tranches de filets de poulet reconstitué.
Dommage donc de penser se régaler d'un plat italien, à l'italienne, mais on peut penser faire mieux à la maison !
La salle est classique un peu vieillot, le service rattrape un peu par son amabilité et sa rapidité, mais service rapide peut aussi rimer avec trop vite préparé et insipide.
Peut mieux faire donc !
04/10/2024: Envie de dîner dans un restaurant italien, finalement nous avons décidé de choisir ce grand ( plusieurs salles) restaurant situé dans la vieille ville de Vendome. Pizzas excellentes et lasagnes fabuleuses (la portion etait hélas insuffisante à mon goût) certainement du à une faim après beaucoup d’efforts physiques toute la journée. Rosé ok desserts acceptables. Service très vendeur, si vous êtes faibles le garçon vous vendrez susdi un voyage à Rome 😂😂😂 je veux dire remarquable vendeur

25/05/2025: While passing through Vendôme, we had dinner at Sud-Maroc without regret. The welcome, the service, and the cuisine (vegetable tagine with lamb and oriental pastries) were beyond praise. It was perfect! Thanks to the waitress and the cook.
24/04/2025: Nice waitress but super expensive 20 euros for 1 couscous with 2 merguez or 2 dumplings.
In addition to eating industrial merguez and don't tell me otherwise when we have very straight merguez striped as they were and above all very fat and white inside a bowl of semolina for two and a bowl of vegetables for two frankly quantity to review there are other couscous in the area for less expensive and really better because it lacks taste as well.

27/09/2024: After several attempts I am definitely stopping the Vendôme wokasie...
I went there yesterday, pina colada cocktail served without alcohol, in my meat in the wok the beef was red but my meat underneath was slightly blackened, so I was able to smell the chicken which had a strange texture and it smelled really very bad...
Shrimp with rice around (dry rice).
My chicken spring roll had a funny taste..
I've been used to doing all-you-can-eat buffets for about fifteen years and this is crazy.
I paid 16€ for a meal in the end I only took a plate and 6.50 for a cocktail and no alcohol in it...
In 1 year my restaurant became really disgusting..

29/09/2024: I ordered a platter of sweet petit fours. I was told by phone that there will be 12, in the end there are 20 (fortunately only one ordered, otherwise it would have been too much and not potentially wasted).
Then, we ordered for 10:30 a.m. (personal imperative), more than 30 minutes of waiting for the tray to not be ready! Let it be done urgently and no matter how! The box to put them in is too small and therefore nothing is stable. See photos.
In addition to the endless waiting, waiters preferring to fill the windows and you ignore and now the non-compliance with the schedule and especially with the expected service, TO FLEE.
29/09/2024: This morning I waited almost half an hour for 4 baguettes and it's still the same, poorly organized bakery

24/08/2024: Fantastisch restaurant met gepassioneerde eigenaar. Beste restaurant van Vendome. Prijs kwaliteit is echt goed en de eigenaar adviseerde een uitstekende wijn. Personeel is super vriendelijk.
