24/12/2025: We ordered two waffles, Nocciolata and Speculoos, which were delicious and very generously topped—they were made right in front of us! They also offer homemade mulled wine, which is comforting and perfect for winter. The two people who served us were very kind and welcoming. There's a great atmosphere: this place is a must-visit in the port of Pornic 😊 We can't wait to come back and try other waffle flavors!

06/12/2025: The waffle iron is there and the waffles are spinning. They're good and made right in front of you. No reheated waffles. Open late in the season when other places are closed.

15/01/2026: I agree with my husband's opinion of this good, traditional working-class restaurant. The dishes are homemade, and the staff are friendly and discreet. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

27/09/2025: Misunderstanding: I called in early September to make a reservation for nine people for a birthday party. They explained to me that we could only eat sweets, which I readily accepted. When I arrived at the reservation time, a sign indicated that the restaurant was closed. I decided to go inside and was told that the restaurant had been closed for several weeks. I can only advise you to have a plan B if you make a reservation at this establishment. Because managing to find a table for a birthday party for such a large group is nothing short of miraculous... This is an unprofessional establishment; I do not recommend it.

07/09/2025: A must-see when we come to Pornic. The taste and nothing but the taste of strawberries. We've tried everything from a cone to an ice cream sundae, it's all incredibly good.

22/03/2026: Competent and friendly staff. The food is good and inexpensive. I regret the poor hygiene of the windows, walls, and floors... it really gives a bad impression of the place. Update April 2023: Significant improvement in hygiene; I recommend it 🙂

18/03/2026: We had lunch at Zagaya today. The warm, friendly, and humorous welcome from the gentleman and the young woman who found us an exceptional table overlooking the sea was wonderful. The mama and the chatrou were excellent, and the wine list and desserts continued to delight us. The young women who served us were lovely. We had a truly exceptional time at Zagaya. Thank you to the entire team from beginning to end.

13/03/2026: We had a fantastic time! The view is incredible, eating with our feet in the water! The service was excellent, the setting is magnificent! Everything was perfect.

26/03/2026: This is my second time here in a month, and both times it's the same thing! I ordered the cheddar and bacon extras for two maxi best-of meals, and there was nothing in the hamburgers, which are very skinny in Pornic. It's better to go a little further afield! The reception staff does their job well and is very pleasant.

09/03/2026: We ordered from the Drive on Monday, March 9th at 3:30 PM. We were told that due to a drink shortage, they could only sell 50cl bottles of water. Because of this, the manager decided to only sell the "Maxi Best Of" meal deals! So we ended up with a 50cl bottle of still water that we didn't want, along with a meal deal that was more expensive than what we wanted... The customers have to suffer the consequences of their shortage! What a great policy!
