20/02/2024: I'm not from Saint Etienne, but I love this place and every time I come to Saint Etienne, a visit to this bar is obligatory. I know of few bars with so many drinks available, especially beers. The boss and the waitress are super nice.

11/02/2024: Best kebab in Saint Etienne, one of the last with VEAL, not the real bits of overfat turkey which are dripping and 4.50€ per kebab (a maximum elsewhere). For the dishes I had the chance to taste his eggplant caviar and omelettes for €5 which are huge. If you want a chic restaurant to be satisfied with being welcomed by employees yes don't go there if you are looking for a restaurant where you can eat like nowhere and at a crazy price there is no photo this is the only address in Sainté but you won't be able to show off in front of your friends pk you had a restaurant for 200 bucks yeah sorry about that.

23/03/2024: Excellent as usual. Happy to share this experience with my guests from Lyon, accustomed to good restaurants: they were delighted by this bistronomic cuisine which they found creative and generous, as well as by the quality of the service.

17/03/2024: First visit last night and very disappointed. 4 tasting menus chosen for the table. The menu is advertised as “let yourself be carried away by the chef’s inspiration”. In the end, the chef's inspiration is limited to taking the 2 starters and 2 main courses from a menu and serving them in smaller portions. The chef must have been lacking inspiration that evening... On the contents of the plates. Entree1: foie gras roujet assembled without condiments to soften the foie gras and spiced up the roujet. Starter 2: quenelle with emulsion. Very very good emulsion but the quenelle a little floury. Dish 1.: huge disappointment. Scallops (very well cooked) but which are presented resting in a wine sauce with bacon. !?!?. Dried split pea niochi.. I stop my comments there. I expected better from this address given the other comments I really appreciate the other establishment that I will continue to favor.

18/03/2024: Nothing better than an explanation regarding packaging that does not meet my expectations. Correct explanation from Mr. Jousserand, very involved in the care given to the customer, satisfies me. Moreover, the quality of the pastry is excellent, the chocolate éclair is very satisfying. I recommend it's bakery and tapestry for the seriousness of the boss and his involvement in the project.

The prices are rather low for the dishes, around €9-11 for the majority. The starter, main course + rice, dessert menus start at €16. The welcome is warm, the staff very friendly. I recommend +++

27/03/2024: Great discovery in Saint Étienne… Probably the best pizza in town having tried other Italian restaurants… The service is efficient, the waiters pleasant, as for the pizza 🍕 the dough is very correct, the quality ingredients and the taste on fire 🔥 of wood are an essential point... Very good value for money, the egg supplement perfectly executed as I like... I will come back without any worries soon! I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat a real Neapolitan pizza… The little touch with the Limocello offered by the house, very nice!

25/03/2024: We absolutely loved this place! Pizzas are of great quality: nice variety to choose from, good ingredients and awesome taste. Super affordable and welcoming place. Decor is not top notch for sure, there are probably more "instagramable" restaurants around, but don't be deceived by the looks of it: eating here is completely worth it! We'll for sure be visiting again!
