15/12/2024: Hostellie les Ducs is outstanding. The menu, the service, the quality of the ingredients is excellent even for France. We are so lucky to be living within 15 mins drive of this amazing restaurant and will be back.

14/09/2024: I had the crepe made with mushrooms and chicken and it was delicious. The portions are huge and the food is well priced. The service is also excellent. The owner was very kind.

24/09/2024: Vincent is the perfect host. He really cares about his customers. Grand crème is a true double-shot deal at a low price. 😍
08/09/2024: Really good selection of wines to purchase. The owner understands them very well and luckily for me speaks excellent English as my French is limited when discussing such matters! If you want to buy some good quality wine, go to this place.

14/09/2024: I have been here many times. And the setting is beautiful but the service and food is good. I am from near Napoli and probably shouldn’t have ordered the pizza. I am a bit biased. The pizza was large and tasty but the products - mozzarella and basil were mediocre. I would order the fish and other French dishes which were excellent.

Just a suggestion maybe an optional extra for more toppings.
16/06/2024: Pizza not good, very few toppings for the price, disappointed, we won't come back!!! Supreme pizza 1 slice of chorizo onion you have to count them and the peppers let's not talk about them!!!

The Old Bookshop

11/11/2024: Beaucoup de monde à Duras ce jour-là, restaurants pleins... Mais à The Old Bookshop, mère et fille nous ont accueillis et se sont démenées pour que nous puissions manger sur la petite place en face. Et quelle bonne surprise de goûter de bonnes salades et des des desserts maison. Un immense merci pour ce moment très agréable humainement et gastronomiquement :)
03/10/2024: Excellent déjeuner à The Old Bookshop à Duras. Cela fait plusieurs fois que nous y déjeunons et nous sommes toujours aussi ravis par la qualité de la cuisine. Lydie propose chaque jour quelques plats et gâteaux tous aussi délicieux les uns que les autres. Ses assemblages de salades sont précis, parfaitement équilibrés, variés et originaux. Elle propose aussi des plats chauds comme des croque-monsieur complètement revisités. Quant à ses pâtisseries…. Cheese-cake, muffins, sont tous excellents. Il est prudent de réserver.
