The restaurant, which has retained its original Art Deco style, is simply splendid and full of charm. You immediately feel at home.
The owner is incredibly kind, with a truly warm and genuine welcome. And then the meal… Everything was absolutely delicious, nothing to criticize, from beginning to end.
An exceptional place that I wholeheartedly recommend. ✨🍽️
27/04/2026: A very enjoyable experience with our meal at Marinette's in Figeac, on the Way of St. James. Having completed our walk, we looked for a restaurant and chose this establishment with its art deco ambiance (special mention for the buffet and the period lighting – 1927 – in this former coaching inn turned restaurant).
The simple yet delicious cuisine delighted us, and the desserts, such as the walnut flour cake and a lightly sweetened fruit bavarois, were the perfect ending to a hearty and flavorful meal, served with efficiency by the owner. I highly recommend this gourmet stop with its retro art deco atmosphere!

11/04/2026: I have very mixed feelings. The hot drinks and lemon cake were excellent, the atmosphere was great, super cozy... but I also ordered two slices of lemon cake to go (€5 a slice, but I thought, 'It's good, so it doesn't matter.') The problem is that when I got home and opened the box, I found two slices that were badly cut (especially one with a hole right through the middle, leaving almost nothing but the crust!). I took photos, it's a shame I can't post them. I didn't see them being cut, otherwise I would have refused them immediately, and that's not at all what we were served in the dining room. Very disappointed...
20/12/2025: Passing through Figeac, this café quickly became my go-to spot!
Excellent coffee, fresh and high-quality pastries, and finally, warm service!!
A big thank you to the whole team, always smiling every time I visit!

22/05/2026: I had a truly wonderful meal at this little restaurant run by friendly owners. The local foie gras, the cabécou cheese, and the duck leg were so comforting after my 12km walk! And be sure to try their wines; the dry white paired perfectly with my Chef's Discovery 😉

07/07/2025: One of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Wrong order, burger dripping with grease and the burger meat didn't taste at all like other McDonald's which makes you question the freshness.
06/07/2025: A complete team of incompetent people, not a single order served without a hitch.
Scrap metal in nuggets, cold fries cooked and recooked, incomplete order, in short, everything to be happy after having traveled 20 km for a McDonald's.

31/12/2024: Great discovery, top service for this unpretentious pizzeria
refined and delicious dishes.
10/12/2024: La Strada now renamed L'arcane could be good, but wasn't.
We chose to eat there because they have a wood-fired oven, which is usually a basic guarantee of pizza quality, but our pizza bases were soft, doughy and under-cooked, so the topping soaked into the dough creating a sloppy mess that made pizza inedible. This was doubly unfortunate because they used good quality flour and good quality fresh ingredients that were spoiled by the badly cooked base.
As a bit of a pizza purist, I'd been hoping for nothing more elaborate than a basic well-made Napolitaine with black olives and anchovies. Unfotunately nothing so simple was available, so we had to opt for something more elaborate, whose topping, rather surprisingly was mixed with slightly warmlettuce and mache.
They really need to keep it simple and master the basics before attempting more fanciful variations on classic pizza. Our bill came to 45€ for two inedible pizzas and a half bottle pichet of pinot.
Finally, later in the evening had indigestion of the sort that I associate with eating bread from bakery chains that use rising agents rather than proper sourdough.

04/09/2024: Accueil , sourire et plats du jours agréables à déguster! C’est par pur hasard que nous nous sommes arrêtés! .. Pas déçus! Viandes excellentes! Je vous le recommande !
17/08/2024: Accueil sympathique, toutefois l’attente a été beaucoup trop longue (45min pour prendre la commande…), peut être liée à un problème de personnel? Les serveuses sont agréables mais clairement débordées par le nombre de tables. J’ai regretté aussi l’absence de flexibilité : des pâtes sont proposées en accompagnement des plats, mais on m’a refusé d’échanger des frites contre des pâtes dans un menu enfant. Dommage.
Sinon les plats sont bons (burger de bonne facture) avec des suggestions locales.
