Traditional, homemade cuisine. A very warm, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere, and impeccable service.
The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious.
We had a lovely time.
Highly recommended.

31/05/2026: A very good restaurant in the center of Figeac. The staff are friendly and kind, which is a pleasure, and the food is top-notch.
Their couscous, invented and revisited by the chef, is absolutely divine—original and very flavorful.
The duck breast was also excellent, but with the truffade (a potato and cheese dish) in hot weather, it's a bit heavy to digest. They just need to consider a different side dish, and it would be perfect, perhaps even worthy of six stars.
25/05/2026: Authentic home-style brasserie cuisine, a wide selection of quality dishes that delighted us. Excellent value for money. One of the best in Figeac, far superior to many of the restaurants that line Rue de Clermont!
It's a shame the owner isn't the friendliest, but she's a great salesperson and so professional!
We'll definitely be back next time we're in Figeac.

Easy parking for our car with roofbox. Walk over bridge to shops and the market. Lovely dinner overlooking the river.

17/07/2026: A wonderful discovery since the change of management! The team is truly fantastic: welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere is warm and inviting; you feel right at home.
As for the food, everything is excellent: the dishes are varied, prepared with very fresh ingredients, and bursting with flavor. You can taste the care that goes into every plate.
I highly recommend this place. Congratulations to the new owners on this wonderful revival; we will definitely be back!

The staff is so friendly that you almost forget the fish was cooked a little… enthusiastically. The dishes are honest, unpretentious, and unambitious—the kind of food that nourishes without trying to impress. It all holds together, it's edible, it brings a smile… then it fades from memory as soon as you leave. And for a bill around €35, we shouldn't pretend to be surprised: here, friendliness is the hallmark. In short, a pleasant, unassuming restaurant, saved by a smile.

02/04/2026: €60 for two, the value for money was absolutely terrible… The leeks were probably straight from the freezer, they were tasteless, just water. My partner ordered them with duck gizzards, and they were cold compared to the rest of the crepe. The crepes in general weren't hot, barely lukewarm, and completely bland… My partner isn't fussy, but he felt like he was eating in a school cafeteria! A bit disappointed despite the friendly welcome and quick service.

24/05/2026: We came three nights in a row during the motocross weekend in Lacapelle and tried both the bar and the restaurant. The burgers are truly excellent and the servers are pleasant.
However, it's hard to ignore the way the owner speaks to his staff: his tone is very harsh and creates a heavy and frankly unpleasant atmosphere.
It's a shame; we're not living in Zola's time anymore.
As you can see, I don't recommend this establishment.
23/05/2026: Avoid at all costs! A disastrous experience.
The welcome was nonexistent, the staff were unpleasant and stared at us as soon as we arrived. To top it all off, we were brought menus that were disgustingly filthy, with food scraps stuck to them. Faced with such a lack of hygiene and respect, we got up and left immediately. This establishment should be avoided at all costs.

27/07/2026: We discovered this restaurant, which was recommended to us, and had a wonderful time. We returned during our stay in the Figeac region. The food was excellent, with a chef who prioritizes local produce and homemade dishes. The service was impeccable, with tablecloths and cloth napkins in a beautiful dining room. The restaurant is also frequented by locals, which speaks to its quality. I highly recommend it.

28/04/2026: We arrived at 11 am for coffee and hot chocolate. It was raining, and unfortunately, we decided to leave. I was with a two-month-old baby in a stroller, my three-year-old daughter, and my partner. The place was empty. The staff refused to serve us, which is against the law. I know the law, having worked in restaurants myself. The right-wing women took their seats. We noticed, as my husband is of North African origin. There were two of them at the bar, just sitting on their phones, doing nothing in an empty room. Shameful! I'm very, very disappointed. They sent me to the bar next door, the one where all the local drunks go. In short, pathetic.
