My experience at Antidote is more than positive!
This establishment offers refined, diverse and original dishes...
The service is very pleasant and does its best to respond to our requests.
I'm thinking of entrusting my birthday meal (60 people) to the restaurant's catering team, which has proven itself many times.
29/04/2024: A good atmosphere, top service but the dishes need to be reviewed due to lack of service and taste. In addition, the boss at the cash register stole €10 of our holiday voucher. We didn't realize it at the time and we checked later because the notebook was new. Especially since I paid €173 for 5 people which seems much too expensive given the quality of the product which doesn't even make homemade fries and is very stingy with the sauce. I don't recommend the restaurant and I would recommend "Le Melting-Pot" which is next door and which is 100x better.

02/04/2024: Fans from the start, we have seen the cuisine and the restaurant evolve over the years.
The new location on the swing bridge is just magical, an emblematic place in Cherbourg.
I almost forgot to talk about the plate, finally the round of dishes and flavors!
The trip is guaranteed, with creative, Japanese cuisine made with fresh, local products.
I cannot recommend the Janne food/wine pairing menu highly enough.
This place fully deserves a second star ⭐️⭐️

a great choice of foods, rarely cold or dry.
the buffet is always well stocked,
a very wide variety of grilled meat,
going there regularly I recommend it.

04/11/2023: Small Italian restaurant run by very pleasant Italians. The staff is very nice, the restaurant is quiet which is rare, and most importantly, the dishes are delicious and at affordable prices.
Don't be fooled by the size of the plates of pasta which seems very small, they are actually bottomless pits, it is difficult to finish them as they are so plentiful!
I highly recommend this restaurant!
Ps: thoughts to reserve before coming because from experience the restaurant is often full!

Plate of homemade foie gras, Périgord salad as a starter, and our main dishes, duck breast with Rossini sauce, and filet mignon in sauce with fried vegetables

30/03/2024: Dinner for 2 at the first service, reception a little cold. Leeks as a starter not cooked, without taste and without the mustard vinaigrette although noted on the menu. Both dishes good but served with cold sauce. Around 9 p.m. a parade of staff leaving the restaurant, first the cooks and then the waitresses, leaving all the customers stranded in the restaurant for a good twenty minutes, but what were you going to do outside together? ? Anyway, we left and went to have dessert at the dining club next door with the great welcome and the great products we know from them.
