12/11/2025: I'm somewhat familiar with the franchise; I've been to the one in Saint-Étienne and the one in Cherbourg, which were quite decent. This was my second visit to the Coutances location on Monday, November 10th, for lunch, and I must admit I was disappointed, unlike my first visit. The staff is friendly, no complaints there. While the starter and dessert were acceptable, the same cannot be said for the main course: a tiny chicken burger with very greasy breading. The fries were overcooked and had a very pronounced greasy taste. The portions were also relatively small, the wait was quite long, and the waiter was very rough. He spilled some of the fries on my wife when he brought them to our table and cleared the table, including my beer, even though we had barely finished eating. A meal that should have been quite enjoyable ended up irritating me. It's a shame, and I don't think I'll be going back. Unfortunately, I was so annoyed by the meal that I didn't even bother paying at the register. It would be good to discuss this with the boss; it would help improve these points because the franchise is nice.

22/02/2026: We had a good meal. No complaints, the presentation was excellent. The only downside was the noise. It's true that it used to be a roadside restaurant, and the dining room hasn't been renovated to make it more welcoming or to reduce the noise from other diners. Something needs to be done about it.

Good value for money.

18/01/2026: A warm and inviting place. I had the vegetarian pizza; it was quite large and filling. The tomatoes could be cooked a little more. I also had chicken with sauce, but the portion was small. It should be served in a larger size. Although the food wasn't entirely suited to Turkish tastes, thank you for the warm welcome and service.

15/08/2025: A must-try! The food is of very high quality and refined. The place is calm, with soft lighting and interesting decor: chandelier, table lamps, and wall art. Round tables for 5 people, tables for 2, for 4, or simply for 3 like us. The staff, apparently the owners, are very welcoming. We were served plated meals, and the dishes were very generous yet light.

02/02/2026: Hello everyone, I'm giving 5 stars in all 3 categories because for the food, the staff are very welcoming, they serve us in what I would say are fairly short timeframes, the food is good and it's hot, for the service, the staff who serve us are friendly and the tray is clean (even if sometimes, this isn't really the case) and for the atmosphere, there is a good atmosphere and the place is very welcoming and makes you want to go there so that's my experience at the McDonald's in Coutances.

We placed an online order over three weeks ago. When we arrived at McDonald's, an employee explained that the QR code wasn't working and asked us to place the order again, assuring us that the first order wouldn't be charged.
As a result, we were charged twice.
We were asked to wait for a refund. Three weeks later, when we returned, we were told that they "can't do anything about it" and didn't care.
This situation is completely unacceptable. We paid twice for a single order and received no refund.
We demand an immediate refund. This lack of professionalism and respect for customers is shocking.
First the story about the rats circulating on social media, and now this—it's high time they did something about this McDonald's before complaints are filed! And I won't hesitate.
Please resolve this issue as soon as possible.
