11/11/2025: A very pleasant restaurant facing the port of Saint Vaast, with a lovely, rustic atmosphere.
The service is excellent and efficient. Although we arrived without a reservation, the owner was very accommodating in finding us a table.
The ingredients are fresh and high-quality.
Some of us opted for the set menu featuring delicious local oysters and a very good whiting (a local fish I hadn't tried before).
The rest of the table chose mussels and burgers, which were very well received and served in generous portions. A great place to eat and good value for money.

10/12/2025: A wonderful discovery! The room was very well-equipped and very quiet.
The breakfast was very generous and beautifully presented. The bed was very comfortable.
If I return to the area, I know where to stay.
28/11/2025: I love this place.
I haven't had the chance to try the rooms.
I went there for breakfast, as you can stay elsewhere and have an all-you-can-eat breakfast for €16.
The food is delicious.
The staff is lovely.
And the place is truly unique.
Take the time to explore and wander through the garden with its little signs and philosophical quotes, and the beautiful aeoniums...
Take your time.
My only regret is that the hotel no longer has a restaurant.

18/01/2026: The food is excellent. I highly recommend it; it's the best place in St Vaast, even if it's easy to forget.
10/01/2026: It's often difficult to find a restaurant that combines a pleasant atmosphere, beautifully presented dishes, and refined flavors, especially when exploring a new region. La Criée du Tomahawk exceeded all these expectations. The warm welcome and impeccable service added a touch of perfection to our experience. I highly recommend this restaurant, which greatly enhanced our stay.

11/02/2026: We were disappointed by the skate wing, which lacked steamed potatoes or rice, and by the scallops with raspberry caramel (sweetness doesn't pair well with scallops). There wasn't enough celery root purée, which wasn't homemade. The profiterole-style pear choux pastries, drenched in cold chocolate sauce, were the final touch to this meal in a rather chilly dining room.
27/01/2026: There were four of us. Two appetizers were served, and once we'd finished them, the other two (finally!) arrived. The main courses came after that. A complete mismatch in the service!
Then, although excellent, the portion of seafood sauerkraut was tiny! (especially considering the price).
Besides, the prices were exorbitant. Riesling for €50, profiteroles for €9 (for two choux pastries)... Nicely presented, good quality, but we were hungry and didn't have any money left to buy anything else! 😂

18/01/2026: We received a very poor welcome, the staff were rude, and there were no vegetarian options.
09/01/2026: Overall, a very disappointing experience. The service was extremely slow: 20 minutes for the aperitif, 30 for the starter, and a 1.5-hour wait for the main courses.
While the starter was very good, the rest of the meal was a complete disaster: the main course was very average, and the dessert (dry profiteroles) was simply atrocious. To top it all off, the waitress was unpleasant, and the management offered no compensation whatsoever for the excessive wait or the poor quality of the desserts. I do not recommend it.
