19/04/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I cancelled one week before my arrival due to unforeseen circumstances: my mother had just passed away, and her funeral was on the day of our scheduled arrival. I have proof in the form of a letter from the funeral home.
They refused to refund the two nights. Their poor customer service doesn't deserve to be in business.

18/01/2026: The food is excellent. I highly recommend it; it's the best place in St Vaast, even if it's easy to forget.
10/01/2026: It's often difficult to find a restaurant that combines a pleasant atmosphere, beautifully presented dishes, and refined flavors, especially when exploring a new region. La Criée du Tomahawk exceeded all these expectations. The warm welcome and impeccable service added a touch of perfection to our experience. I highly recommend this restaurant, which greatly enhanced our stay.

21/03/2026: Home-style cooking with a good balance of flavors and perfectly adequate portions. Very welcoming. I recommend it.
11/02/2026: We were disappointed by the skate wing, which lacked steamed potatoes or rice, and by the scallops with raspberry caramel (sweetness doesn't pair well with scallops). There wasn't enough celery root purée, which wasn't homemade. The profiterole-style pear choux pastries, drenched in cold chocolate sauce, were the final touch to this meal in a rather chilly dining room.
