10/12/2025: A group dinner organized during the Fignos gala. Pleasant atmosphere. Simple but effective cuisine. Our waitress was very friendly and thoughtfully found solutions to my food intolerances.

03/01/2026: Very disappointing experience. Before coming, we called the restaurant specifically to ask if dogs were allowed, explaining in English that we were traveling with two dogs. We asked twice, and both times we were clearly told yes, and our reservation was confirmed. When we arrived, however, the staff looked us up and down and then informed us that only small dogs are allowed, and that our 25 kg dogs were not accepted. This condition was never mentioned on the phone. Because of this, we were forced to leave and try to find another restaurant at the last minute. Unfortunately, being a busy evening in Châlons-en-Champagne, everything else was already fully booked, which completely ruined our last evening in the city. If you have rules about dog size, that is completely fair — but they must be clearly communicated, especially when guests take the time to call in advance and ask in good faith. This was unprofessional and extremely frustrating.

11/01/2026: The restaurant is quite visually appealing. (But it hides its true nature well...) The food isn't bad, but according to reliable sources in the kitchen, it's all pre-packaged. But the worst thing, I think, is the waiters, who are completely unresponsive, making the service interminable. (Waiters even smoke cigarettes almost in front of the customers during service and, of course, without washing their hands, go back to serving plates...) Furthermore, I returned another time with guests (during the Fête de la Musique) simply wanting to enjoy a glass of Champagne. Upon entering this restaurant/bar, one of the waiters came to ask me if we had a reservation. I politely replied that we didn't. He responded with a hateful expression that the tables were reserved for customers dining in the restaurant. I tried to calmly explain that I understood his instructions. But perhaps I could make an exception (I discreetly mentioned that I was with important people and that my family knew the manager very well, as they are also very good customers). My only response was an arrogant "No!" from the waiter 😠 and that I could leave immediately, that it wasn't his problem... So you understand that I cannot recommend this establishment, which is supposed to be a Chalons institution. What a shame 😔😥😮‍💨😱 Avoid it, unfortunately 😔😥😪

01/02/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant for a special occasion and had a wonderful time. The welcome and service were exceptional: attentive, professional, and refined, with a lovely touch that made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was excellent, elegant, and delicious. A truly wonderful restaurant that we highly recommend.

30/01/2026: Bad experience. I wanted to introduce my mom to this place, but it was a bust. I called at 11 am today to make a reservation, specifying that there would be a set menu (which was my mom's favorite dish, so it was perfect timing). We arrived, they took our orders, and then came back to say, "Sorry, we're out." I should point out that I did mention on the phone that there was a set menu. The owner replied, "Yes, but I forgot to ask which meat was on the menu." For a place like yours, that's really disappointing. Oh well, I wanted to try something different, so we'll go to your competitors. Thanks anyway to the waitress who was very friendly and welcoming.

10/12/2025: A great little Italian restaurant offering a variety of dishes. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is lovely and welcoming. It can be a bit noisy due to its small size. Reservations are recommended for larger tables.

26/11/2025: Excellent quality pizzeria with very reasonable prices! Go there without hesitation, you won't be satisfied.

16/01/2026: No longer accepting Swile meal vouchers! Unfortunately, this is the last time we'll be coming here. We used to come often in groups, but we were unpleasantly surprised to learn that the manager had decided to stop accepting Swile cards and meal vouchers. It's quite surprising to make this kind of decision when you know that restaurants are finding it increasingly difficult to survive and that many people have meal vouchers. Deciding to stop accepting them is clearly cutting themselves off from a significant customer base and therefore revenue. Until the manager comes to his senses, well, we'll just have raclette at each other's places.

09/01/2026: Good selection of French dishes. Great champagne. The foie gras, both prepared this way, was excellent. The snails are not recommended.

23/12/2025: A truly lovely place. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The portions were generous and delicious, all for a reasonable price. Our children were also very well received (which isn't always the case in some restaurants). We enjoyed this restaurant and will definitely return.
