30/09/2023: Great restaurant, unfortunately we were too late for the main courses from the grill. But I'm sure good local food is served here. Plus delicious drinks. High price. The restaurant received a Michelin award in 2021. Great ambience. Gladly again

PS: be careful of the winding road that takes you there! don't be afraid of heights ahaha

Excellent charcuterie boards at very reasonable prices. Lovely welcome and service. Very good wines at reasonable prices. We spent a very good evening there, on the small terrace overlooking the port, and hope to come back next year. No reservation, but very little wait when there are only 2 of us

Small special mention to Anghjulu-Maria, who accompanied us throughout the meal. A charming meeting with a young man passionate about his profession. Well done

Nice restaurant on the square but we ended up with cockroaches between our table and also our burrata dish tasted acidic.
The only positive point is the service.
A hygiene check or disinfestation would be necessary.

We had called the campsite to confirm the possibility of a late arrival after 11 p.m. The reception confirmed the feasibility by giving us a code for the barrier.
When we arrived, we were greeted by a drunk person who refused to let us in.
30/10/2023: Couple in camper van: 28 euros per night is already excessive. The camper vans are stuck together. the sanitary facilities are dilapidated and insufficient: only 2 dilapidated dishwashing bins and 2 laundry bins, 5 toilets for more than 50 vehicles, i.e. at least 100 people. What's more, no hot water in the taps, only in the shower if you're lucky. And to top it off, no light in the toilets, we wash the dishes with the headlamp.
It's a shame to abuse tourists like this.

03/02/2024: If you are in Macinaggio, La Vela d'Oro is a must stop. The seafood is so fresh, portions are huge, preparation is delicious, and the service is wonderful. We were in town for 2 nights in the off-season and dined here both nights, our server Gaelle was excellent and had great recommendations for the menu. We were recommended here by a tour guide and our hotel and I am so glad we took the recommendation, we would happily return!
