13/03/2026: Reservation for a group of 30 people. A very warm and friendly welcome. A corner was reserved for us. There was a bit of a setup time, but the service went very smoothly, not too long a wait, and the staff's balance in checking that everything was alright and letting us enjoy ourselves was perfect. Each of us had opted for the €30 set menu with tapas and drinks. It's true that the set menu isn't exactly cheap; it's a certain price. But while we were worried about whether there would be enough food, we had absolutely no complaints. The tapas were delicious and more than plentiful. Then, around 10:00 or 10:30 pm, the music started playing—all genres, all eras, all generations—ideal for everyone to enjoy. In short, the whole group applauds the entire work of the Borriquito team, their flexibility and professionalism, with a special mention to Salomée who took care of us all evening.

21/03/2026: A superb Lebanese restaurant that serves the best eggplant caviar I've ever tasted. The other dishes are just as excellent, and the staff is very pleasant, smiling, and happy to explain the dishes. I highly recommend it.

12/03/2026: The food was excellent, at least that’s what my wife said. But the service on the other hand was appalling. No nice welcome and even after every step was followed with a sigh by the hostess there. We had a stroller, being a small restaurant we weren’t sure where to put it, the host said to put it to the side and the hostess said something in Arabic and then we were asked to put it elsewhere bit on the way, and I should say there was no one else at that time in the restaurant. Already it seemed like they disliked the presence of us with a kid and stroller. Then while ordering food it was something else as well, I don’t eat lunch, I never have in years and still don’t. Been to many restaurants in Toulouse and in multiple countries around the world, but this must be one of the only times the disliked that I didn’t order food. My wife ordered a platter for herself and our 2 year old and the guy didn’t say anything but then the hostess said something to him and then he was like normally it is only one platter per person and then I had to say I don’t eat lunch: I don’t think that should matter, it’s a person or couples choice to decide what and how much quantity they want to eat. This isn’t the first time we have been here but wasn’t able to remember what happened last time but now we can remember that it was a cold service and thus can’t recommend. We can see the page tends to respond to reviews saying that they push for individual portions for the experience and so on but one must remember it just makes it bad for the customer and will lead to not recommending this place to others. But can’t take away my wife said that the food was excellent.

04/12/2024: First you taste the “Tajine Chicken Makfoul Onions confit with honey”, you touch the stars and then you come and leave a review. I chose a Couscous Royal, which was good in quantity, good, but nothing more. On the other hand, this spoonful of Tajine Makfoul has just created a desire to come back quickly which will never let me go. The chef should put a star next to this dish: * don't come and complain afterwards about not having chosen this sweet/savory dish blessed by the Gods and homemade. Nothing is perfect, so there was no more Boukha digestive that I would have liked to try and I think we can do without the assortment of pastries. Quality service and affordable price.

07/03/2026: We ate at this restaurant as a group. The food was certainly good, but the service left much to be desired due to the waiter's attitude. Indeed, this gentleman repeatedly made very inappropriate remarks (about diet, physique, etc.). This was extremely unpleasant and prevented me from properly enjoying my meal.

23/02/2026: Exceptional Moroccan cuisine! The dishes are flavorful, generous, and true to tradition. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the expertise. Reservations are highly recommended, as this is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Toulouse, and has been since 2009! A true benchmark for lovers of traditional Moroccan cuisine. Takeout is also available, which is a real bonus. A must-try… and a keeper!

14/02/2026: The vegetarian food was excellent, with a special mention for the couscous. The waiter/cook was very friendly; he even offered to refill our order because he'd made too much. I highly recommend this restaurant/tea room, which is very reasonably priced.

12/03/2026: Rating: 2/5, because I came with an Algerian friend—whom I had invited in June 2025—and while our meals were reasonably good, I really didn't appreciate the manager making me believe, at the end of the meal, that, coincidentally, the payment terminal wasn't working... He could have told us when we arrived. So I had to run to an ATM to withdraw €70 in cash. It took me about half an hour round trip. It goes without saying that we won't be going back and I will give this restaurant a very bad review to everyone I know.
