06/04/2024: Eating at “Safran” is like being invited to the house of the man who runs the restaurant. There is a real feeling of closeness and warmth that cannot be found anywhere else. To give you an idea, we tried to come and eat in the evening a month ago but I misread the timetable and we came at closing time. Despite this, the owner offered us a gazelle horn for our trouble. All dishes are vegetarian. Me and my partner were able to eat the pea tagine and the sweet potato/pear tagine. It was tasty and all the more delicious as the flavors of the dishes were mastered. The deserts are varied and succulent. In short, I advise you to stop by this restaurant. I hope this will be as much a pleasure for you as it was for me.

01/04/2024: The kindness and welcome of the owner is incredible, however it is a tea room, it is not a restaurant, there are no dishes cooked on site. The vegetable couscous is good but poor in ingredients, the 12 euros are excessive considering that. We must also review hygiene and the use of gloves; these same gloves cannot cook, touch the telephone or give change. They are not used to protect hands but to avoid cross contamination...

04/04/2024: Quite disappointed. Vegetarian menu. Really very stingy. Mini salad to share with 2. Generous spreads but it gets boring after a while. 3 unfortunate mini rolls or fritters.... with green beans almost like in the canteen and rice like at home. For dessert, 2 mini pieces of cake with so little flavor... including one bathed in oil. In short, very disappointing.

02/05/2024: Walked in without knowing what to expect and had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. I loved the sweet and salted lamb. Also would recommend the Algerian wine which we had to wash the food down with.

30/04/2024: Good chicken tagine and mixed appetizer plate. It was our first time trying Algerian wine. It was fairly good. Staff is very pleasant. The man really works hard serving so many tables. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed.

04/04/2024: A big thank you to Lamia who welcomed me, served me and was able to advise me. A very well-kept shop with delicious quality oriental pastries. The prices are really very reasonable given the quality of the pastries. I recommend this shop with my eyes closed, I would go back. Thank you for your kindness.

12/03/2024: I usually very rarely leave comments but here, it's simply a relief to finally find pastries that are as good as homemade. In addition, you offer some exquisite revisited flavors with a good taste of rose. It’s a real success BRAVO. A delight.

13/05/2024: Great tapas bar. The quality of the food is matched only by the atmosphere of the bar. This is without counting the kindness of the servers.

12/05/2024: We were a group of more than ten people on a day when there was almost no one in the restaurant. Everything was very quick, the service, but especially the clearing, barely time to finish a dish or a glass when someone came to take it away. Another example, we are brought the dessert menu, and two minutes later we are asked who is having it and the cards are taken away from us. Result: some people who were outside at the time never saw this map. Finally, while we were creating a lot of fun with other groups of people who had arrived, we were suddenly kicked out around 1:30 a.m., without any care (the bouncer who passed by and said to us "it's closed" and even distributes plastic cups for those who hadn't finished their drink, like go finish it outside!). Otherwise the food is OK, but nothing more for the price. In short, for conviviality, you will have to go back...

16/03/2024: We came as a family, we had wanted to go there several times. Unfortunately, we were disappointed.... The welcome was non-existent, the dishes were certainly unlimited but of poor quality, greasy and very lukewarm... We wanted to grill some merguez and kofta, unfortunately the cook was absent.... We had to make do with already grilled meat... More than 20 euros per person, it's not worth the amount. Damage.
