17/03/2024: A remarkable place in every way! Upon arrival, the warm welcome instantly puts us at ease, creating a most pleasant atmosphere. You feel so good from the first moment... The sushi is exceptionally fresh, the salads are perfectly seasoned, and the miso soup is a real delight for the taste buds. Every bite was a delight to the senses, and the entire dining experience was beyond delicious.

04/04/2024: I got in touch with the Bistro XIII team ahead of a youth rugby tour to Toulouse. With a group of over 30 people grom the UK, I needed to find somewhere willing to accommodate us for an evening meal and a few drinks. With a large group of mixed ages, we agreed on a simple menu, and for them to put us at one end of the restautant/bar. The evening was a huge success. The food was fantastic, and Sofien and the team were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. We had such a good time that, very late on the following evening we were wondering past Bistro XIII and they spotted us and encouraged the group to come back in. We didn't need a 2nd invitation! We had so much fun with the whole team. I highly recommend Bistro XIII to anyone in or travelling to Toulouse. You're guaranteed excellent hospitality. Thanks again, Sofien. We will be back one day.

The à la carte menus are excellent and diverse, aperitifs, traditional southwestern menus, quality wines, delicious desserts. It's worth booking, you won't regret it. " Friends first " ! 03/04/2024: We came for a brunch for two and chose the mixed formula for €22. Savory side: nothing to complain about, plate of Dutch pancakes + niquel scrambled eggs, ditto cheeses with a special mention for the cream cheese spread with shallots. The potatoes and aioli are also to die for. My companion had the belly with onion confit and apparently it was really very good. For my part, I asked for the vegetarian option and I was served a few fried onions. Big disappointment, there are better alternatives in my opinion (roasted chickpeas, parsley mushrooms, white beans in tomato sauce for example). To finish, the green salad was simple but good. On the other hand, review the quantities. A bowl for two to share? The sweet stuff is disappointing, especially in terms of quantities: for the granola cottage cheese bowl we had the equivalent of a little more than a tablespoon of cottage cheese. The brioche, only 4 triangles for two, so the equivalent of one slice per person 🫤 and for the spreads, once again two small pots (the equivalent of 2 teaspoons per pot) to share between two people. Luckily the waitresses were kind enough to give us some so we could finish. If we compare savory foods, you really have an imbalance in the choice: how are two small spreads considered as a dish? Drink-wise, it's also a bit limited, you don't expect to have a small cup of tea for example. Otherwise really very nice staff, warm setting and atmosphere for a brunch.

Although the tables were a little close together, we were able to communicate discreetly in an appreciable calm given the number of people in the restaurant. The service: a very pleasant, professional, smiling and efficient young girl. Perfect ! What is served: everything is fresh, plentiful and very good! A great restaurant...!
