17/04/2026: Honestly, there are much better options nearby for less money. The rave reviews are clearly biased, or those people have never eaten couscous anywhere else. Very disappointed.

15/04/2026: Always a very warm welcome, and have been for decades; for me, it's the best couscous in the entire Metz region, and the staff are fantastic, going out of their way for their customers! 💖🫶

07/06/2026: I'd like to leave a comment. As a frequent customer of the old Sésames, which I readily recommended back then, I'm very disappointed today. Regarding the food, I have no complaints: the dishes were good, but I find it expensive. For example, a few years ago, the royal couscous was €19.90 per person, and we could get a doggy bag. Now, get this, it's €49! Isn't that outrageous? And that's without a doggy bag. We ordered chicken couscous (€21) and merguez couscous (€25). 🤔 As for the welcome and service, they left me with a very negative impression. I felt like our presence was inconvenient. Perhaps it was just my impression, but we were constantly rushed throughout the meal. We barely had time to sit down before we could even look at the menu properly. Throughout the meal, the staff kept circling our table, giving the impression that we had to eat quickly and leave as fast as possible. This is a shame, because as customers, we appreciate being able to take our time and enjoy the experience. I also felt that some people, clearly known to the establishment or the staff, received a much warmer and more attentive welcome than other customers. This difference in treatment is regrettable, as every customer should be treated with the same consideration. This experience contrasts sharply with my previous dining experiences, and unfortunately, this explains my disappointment. I will not be returning.

02/06/2026: Excellent! Friendly and smiling staff. The couscous was delicious, followed by delectable oriental pastries and a warm mint tea. The decor was exotic. We will gladly return.

31/05/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Arrived at 1:00 PM, served at 2:45 PM, leftover vegetable broth from other tables, inedible lamb skewers, like shoe leather, and the meat was so bad it was practically unusable. I asked the waiter when the food would arrive, he replied: soon... 30 minutes later, still nothing. Another waiter came to see me, I told him about the wait, he told me to call the owner. I asked him if he was a dancer or a waiter in the restaurant. GOODBYE

16/05/2026: My first experience was a bit disappointing. I ordered a terrine, which was very good, and a beef fillet with morel sauce. They were far too stingy with the sauce and morels, especially considering I paid €35 ​​for the dish. Too expensive for what it was. To make matters worse, they were out of frog legs and capon. For me alone, it came to €80. Too expensive. A restaurant to avoid.

12/05/2026: Everything is perfect! I honestly think this is one of the best restaurants in Metz. The food is exquisite, showcasing the chef's true skill. The service is respectful and worthy of a fine dining establishment. The intimate and pleasant atmosphere is perfect for any occasion. The price is justified; honestly, go for it.
