19/09/2026: Far from the convivial atmosphere of a good couscous.
Everything is served individually; after three spoonfuls, your portion of semolina is gone.
For the price, we expected decent flavors and equal portions. But there was none of that. The flavors were simply not there.
The staff is very friendly, but the food is completely lacking.
As an added bonus, don't be taller than 1.70 meters (5'7") or you'll be eating with your knees up to your chest because the chairs are so low and the seating position uncomfortable. A huge disappointment considering all the positive reviews.
17/09/2026: The food was delicious. It arrived piping hot and was perfectly seasoned. The wine recommendation was excellent. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The restaurant had a very harmonious and well-balanced ambiance. There was ample space between tables. However, the room was somewhat echoey, so it could be a bit noisy at times, especially if small children were crying. Nevertheless, we had a lovely evening. Thank you so much!

13/08/2026: First reservation and very satisfied with this culinary experience.
The setting, nestled at the foot of the cathedral, is very peaceful for the city center.
Our server was friendly and the timing between aperitifs and the main courses was well managed. As for the meal, the cuisine was exquisite. It was delicious and, above all, very generous. In short, a must-try.
We will be back.

10/09/2026: A warm and welcoming reception awaited us at this lovely oriental restaurant. The food lived up to our expectations, and the owner was incredibly attentive. Highly recommended.

Under €120 for three people, including aperitifs, desserts, and tea.
Unbeatable!
The portions are generous without being wasteful.
The couscous was perfect, the vegetables were equally delicious, and the meat was cooked to perfection.
The decor is beautiful, from the stucco work on the walls and ceilings, the music (pleasant) is not too intrusive, and the restaurant is large enough to maintain a sense of privacy.
We'll be back.

30/06/2026: Excellent North African cuisine, a benchmark for many years. They use high-quality ingredients, and the grilled meats are superb. The couscous with mechoui is highly recommended. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly, efficient service.

17/08/2026: Top-notch restaurant with a magnificent terrace. You almost forget you're in Florange. The dishes are generous and delicious. The waiters and waitresses are welcoming, professional, and very friendly.
16/08/2026: I was very shocked by the bill. They act like crooks. Take the menu, for example, which states "unlimited sides." The sides are very meager, costing €31, with no salad leaves, a piece of beef that wasn't even huge and was cut into three pieces to take up more space, and a pitiful basket of fries the size of a child's. You're forced to ask for a second side because, obviously, it's insufficient. And then they charge you €8 for that, even though the menu says "unlimited." Tea is offered amicably with dessert, and they bring back the teapot for €20. Water is €8. Far too expensive for the food on offer. It's clear they have no competition in their sector.

20/09/2026: For my first time, I was more than satisfied. The couscous with lamb ragù was simply excellent. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the couscous fine. The tea at the end of the meal was perfect. Thank you to the owner, who was incredibly kind.

25/07/2026: 47 euros for 10 frog legs, overcooked, not marbled, with just plain mashed potatoes.
A half-bottle of Picon for 8 euros…
The beef steak, however, was good, and two nice pieces. I just left the table and I'm still far too hungry for a bill of 105 euros… Far too expensive for the quality of the food and service…
13/06/2026: Exceptional service and very pleasant staff. We had a meal on the terrace for a birthday, and we couldn't complain.
