04/05/2026: An address I highly recommend. A view of the cathedral, an ideal location, and a small terrace. Pleasant service. A warm welcome awaits. It's best to book ahead. A bit noisy for my taste, but it's busy, so that's somewhat unavoidable. The portions are generous, truly! I left some... sometimes a little less is enough, but that's just my personal preference; I'm always frustrated when I leave food. It's hearty and generous, just like the culture itself! Well-prepared. A great place. It was recommended to me, and I finally tried it.
03/05/2026: Good choice for the vegetarian. The mezze was more than sufficient per person. Varied and tasty. Only the fried snacks were a bit disappointing because the batter around the cheese was too thick.
The service was good and fast at the beginning, but then the attention waned a bit.
We sat outside on the terrace with a view of the cathedral.

The meat was very good and tender.
The vegetables in their broth were simply excellent!
We will definitely be back.

17/04/2026: Honestly, there are much better options nearby for less money. The rave reviews are clearly biased, or those people have never eaten couscous anywhere else.
Very disappointed.
15/04/2026: Always a very warm welcome, and have been for decades; for me, it's the best couscous in the entire Metz region, and the staff are fantastic, going out of their way for their customers! 💖🫶

13/05/2026: Honestly, the food is good, but I get the impression that it's fully booked every day, as if we were in Monaco. Empty tables and a little man at the entrance who looks you up and down and tells you it's full! I didn't know they could treat customers so condescendingly, so I won't be coming back.

16/05/2026: My first experience was a bit disappointing. I ordered a terrine, which was very good, and a beef fillet with morel sauce. They were far too stingy with the sauce and morels, especially considering I paid €35 for the dish. Too expensive for what it was. To make matters worse, they were out of frog legs and capon. For me alone, it came to €80. Too expensive. A restaurant to avoid.
12/05/2026: Everything is perfect!
I honestly think this is one of the best restaurants in Metz. The food is exquisite, showcasing the chef's true skill. The service is respectful and worthy of a fine dining establishment.
The intimate and pleasant atmosphere is perfect for any occasion. The price is justified; honestly, go for it.

29/09/2024: Very disappointed with this restaurant.
Waiting on arrival, to be served and to pay. Cold reception, table reserved for 2, squeezed between the other tables in the veranda, barely room to sit.
Unfriendly waitress, we left before dessert, the extremely noisy atmosphere was so unbearable.
The only positive point was that the couscous was good and plentiful.
I won't come back.
22/09/2024: I was eating with my partner today, Sunday September 22, for my St. Maurice birthday, we ate very well and the service was impeccable, I recommend
