19/09/2026: I say Bravo! This restaurant lived up to our expectations. We had a wonderful time. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the chef and his wife, as well as their entire team.

01/06/2026: This was a dinner at the beach while enjoying the vineyards right behind you. We had both fish and meat and they were both exquisite. The service was fast and attentive even though the restaurant was full. We loved it and would go again when visiting next time. Highly recommend.

01/06/2026: At the restaurant on Christmas Day 2024. The place was magnificent, the welcome and service very good, the meal (Christmas menu that day) was good, except that it was served almost cold, due to the distance between the kitchen and the restaurant from the outside. Otherwise, really good. I recommend the Cap Béar white wine, truly excellent!!! Regarding the problem with the outdoor service, it would be easy to install a removable, protected corridor from the kitchen to the dining room in winter, which would facilitate and improve service, and also provide shelter on bad weather days. Otherwise, everything was great!!! We'll definitely be back again in spring, summer, or autumn; we're not far away!!! I just received your reply today... regarding protecting the dishes from the cold, it would be enough to cover them... something to consider if there are no other solutions.

14/09/2026: After waiting 30 minutes for the waiter to take our order, we chose the seafood rice dish, only to be told there would be another 25-minute wait for the rice to cook... The waiter suggested we order an appetizer while we waited! We opted for the half duck breast, which was served in a sauce with small pieces of nectarine and no other accompaniments. A bit stingy for our taste! We left very disappointed and finished our meal at home.

11/04/2026: We ate on their terrace with our two dogs and it was fantastic! Excellent service, delicious food, and generous portions. We'll be back.

12/11/2025: The perfect place to discover this beautiful Catalan region, just a stone's throw from the sea and 5 minutes from Perpignan. A warm welcome from the new owners in a charming and spacious house. Comfortable rooms with excellent beds. The patio is very pleasant. A table d'hôte (set menu) is highly recommended: you'll be won over by Emilie's cooking. Thank you to Emilie and Yannick for this excellent weekend!

22/05/2026: One weekend lunch, we chose the "Market Fresh" menu and thoroughly enjoyed it. The setting is wonderful, and the welcome and service were simply the best I've ever experienced in a restaurant of this caliber. The wine list is outstanding. I particularly appreciated the chef's visit to the dining room at the end of service. If I may make a suggestion, I would have enjoyed a small nibble with the aperitifs before the amuse-bouches arrived, but this doesn't detract from this very pleasant experience. I will definitely return.

21/05/2026: We've been there several times and have never been disappointed. The service is always attentive and complements the delicious, perfectly executed dishes of consistently impeccable quality. It's a place we gladly return to, certain of having a wonderful time.

17/09/2026: VERY VERY GOOD Don't let the restaurant's name put you off. You absolutely must try the octopus with its (mild) chorizo ​​sauce. A real treat. Perfectly cooked. They also have prawns and cuttlefish with parsley. The desserts are homemade. Delicious chocolate mousse (it's rare to find such a good chocolate mousse). I highly recommend it. I went there every day. Very friendly service. (We hope they'll have apricot jam doughnuts next year 😉😁).

11/09/2026: The best restaurant in Canet-Plage. The pizzas and pasta are exquisite and delicious, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and all the servers are incredibly attentive. I highly recommend it. In fact, I'm going back tonight! 😊

19/09/2025: An experience not to be repeated. Arrived at 12:15 p.m., served at 1:30 p.m. Squid tapas served cold, paella reheated and forgotten in the oven. A word of advice, never go to the toilet in a dismal and dirty state; the toilets at motorway service stations are cleaner. One last piece of advice: bring fly swatters, the only ones who appreciate this cuisine.

23/09/2026: It was an amazing experience 🤗I highly recommend to go to that small authentic restaurant with tasty food! If you are luxury lover better not, leave it to people which loves tasty and simple! We were not planing to eat to be honest, just after long walk decided to have our fresh Pepsi, first what we were offered - water for our dog, because she was exhausted, after very fast we were enjoying our fresh drink and decided to watch menu, and there were all we love, fresh seafood… and while we were watching menu restaurant became full very fast, and it was a sign 😄i think you understand what I mean! Very friendly owners, yes, they are working and serving in their restaurant, very positive, like we are friends for a long time! Thank you for that feeling! And of course the most important- food was absolutely delicious!!! Today we decided to visits the restaurant again, sooo see you soon! Thierry and Iryna🫶🏼

15/06/2026: Hello to all who are reading this, Le Jardin des Simples, which I would describe more as a "Garden of the Love of Good Things," is an extraordinary place run by an incredibly kind couple. It's a very intimate place; you get this strange feeling of being at home! The owner, Christophe, is truly a wonderful person, very attentive, always offering good advice, generous, funny, thoughtful, and yes, it's a pleasure... Carole, the chef, who works alone in the kitchen, it must be said, deserves all the Michelin stars in the world. Her cuisine is passionate, indulgent, rich, beautiful, and each of her dishes is unique! It's a must-visit if you like to treat yourself... My favorite restaurant, in an idyllic setting. A food lover's paradise. Thank you both! 😘😘

18/09/2026: The staff weren't very friendly. Then the salmon was undercooked and the flank steak had a tasteless pepper sauce. And let's not even talk about the fries. In short, disappointing.

30/06/2026: Visited for one night stay during travel. Too warm too walk to the village (steep hills), but pleasant to stay at the hotel and restaurant. Beautiful sightings.

25/03/2026: Excellent homemade dishes at this restaurant. I had the set menu: gizzard salad, sea bass fillet, and lemon meringue mille-feuille. It was delicious, I highly recommend it!
