01/07/2026: We had planned a birthday party, but upon arrival, we were met with disappointment. The service was unpleasant and dishonest. This restaurant tried to charge us more than agreed upon because we had children who didn't even eat there. There was no communication, and the price was exorbitant for what it was. We do not recommend them.

01/07/2026: The food is good, the service a bit slow, the atmosphere nice, but what surprised us most is that, being so close to Spain and with so many Spanish tourists in the area, the menu is only in French and the restaurant staff don't make the slightest effort to understand what you order (they make faces) and insist on speaking to you even if you don't understand French, or even English (and we tried), something very strange in a tourist area like this. I'm not saying they should give you a menu with eight languages ​​like in Benidorm, but the general feeling we got in this area was that Spaniards aren't exactly their favorite people. 29/03/2026: The people here were so lovely to me. I had just arrived in Amelie, was dragging all of my luggage up the hill, and my stomach was screaming with hunger. They spoke no English, and I no French or Catalán, but through gestures and translation on our phones, they managed to offer me some stuffed squid, which I happily accepted and enjoyed. I think I'll always remember that warm welcome very fondly when I think back on my week in Amelie.

06/04/2026: We booked two studios for a family celebration. The location was perfect, but the real surprise was the studio itself. It was spotless, spacious, and had two terraces. The only slight drawback was the noise from spa guests leaving early in the morning for their treatments.

11/06/2026: But how could we not be disappointed? After being seated, we waited 15 minutes for our order to be taken. Once our order was taken, the plate arrived with what I had asked to be removed: the tomatoes. It came back again, but this time with the sun-dried tomatoes still there. In short, for a €21 salad, you get salad, too much mustard, truly subpar service, and an inflated price. We were cleared while my colleague was in the restroom, and they asked me if I wanted dessert or coffee... even though there were two of us. No attention whatsoever, just a credit card in their sights. Restaurants not on the seafront offer much better service.
