27/09/2026: We came to lunch at this restaurant, ideally located facing the sea. We ordered two set lunch menus at €19 (starter + main course) and one dish from the à la carte menu at €24. Unfortunately, the service was incredibly slow, even just getting the starters was a nightmare. The portions were also very, very small. It's a real shame, as all three of us left hungry. The dish from the à la carte menu was a risotto with prawns and scallops. The amount of rice was extremely limited for a dish at this price. It was particularly disappointing. Furthermore, the scallops were raw throughout. They were sent back to the kitchen to be cooked a second time, especially since I am pregnant. Unfortunately, they came back still undercooked. In short, despite a very pleasant location, we were disappointed by the portion sizes, the wait time, and especially the cooking of the dish. We do not recommend this restaurant if you want a proper meal and a full stomach. Following the establishment's response, I would like to clarify that I clearly told the waiter, when I asked him to cook the scallops again, that I was pregnant. It was even the first thing I told the waiter, apologizing for asking for them to be cooked again. I said to him, word for word: "Excuse me, I'm pregnant, the scallops are raw in the center, could you please cook them again?" But apparently, the establishment, which doesn't take criticism well, ignored the detail I provided in my request in their response. A serious lack of honesty in your response. Clearly, this establishment discriminates against pregnant women, since they only serve seared scallops. And then, yes, I did leave the table for a few moments, as your service was so slow that the 1 hour and 30 minutes of parking I had allocated for my vehicle was up before we even received our food. (I should point out that we did nothing more than park and walk to the restaurant.) I didn't mention that it was cold or anything like that, simply that it was a cooking issue. You're deflecting the problem to avoid taking responsibility. Not surprising, given your comments. A very disappointing and dishonest reaction, which confirms the first part of my review.

The setting was perfect, shaded by pine trees, with soft background music, a super friendly welcome, and delicious food. 19/09/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience at Oh Kakou. We chose this restaurant for the end of our vacation after reading Google reviews. Upon arrival, we waited several minutes without anyone coming to see us. We finally had to call a waitress over just to ask for water. She sent her colleague, from whom we ordered a bottle of water and our food. Twenty minutes later, still no water. So we had to get up and go get it ourselves. We then waited another twenty minutes for our food. And, once seated, we also had to get up to get our own salt. To top it all off, the duck we ordered was really not good. The homemade fries, however, were superb, it must be said. We can understand that after the summer season the servers might be a little more relaxed and there might be a bit of a wait, but having to ask for water, go get it ourselves, wait a very long time for our food, and also have to go get the condiments ourselves is simply not acceptable for a restaurant… A very disappointing experience, both in terms of service and the quality of the food. We will not be returning and do not recommend it.

17/09/2026: A warm welcome and friendly staff. We ordered beef tartare and salmon tartare, both were excellent. The desserts were delicious, except for the crème catalane. We will be back.
