14/03/2026: We always order, everything is perfect except for one small issue with the toys in the children's menu: it should specify whether they're for girls or boys! Having a son, he wasn't too happy about the LOL dolls as toys!
16/01/2026: We've been going to the kebab shop in Essey for quite some time now, and we have absolutely nothing to complain about, whether it's the food or the friendliness of the people who run it. They're so lovely, both with the adults and with our baby. I want to thank them for all the times we've eaten there; it's so nice to be surrounded by people like them! 🙏🏼 Morgane & Antony

17/04/2026: Yesterday evening, Wednesday, April 15, 2026, my wife and I went to pick up five pizzas—if you can even call them pizzas. They were the worst pizzas I've ever eaten in my life, from the shape and thickness of the crust to the taste and the size of the pizzas themselves. They were size 31, not even 33! So much for their profit margins! What's more, the woman took our money well before the pizzas were even made. The pizzas were all burnt around the edges, the crust was so thin I've never seen anything like it, and the size... well, let's not even go there. As I told my wife, if it were up to me, I'd have to blame them! I wouldn't have even ordered after we were looking for something to eat quickly because we finally arrived from Marseille a bit late and there wasn't much open. The pizzas are expensive, not good, burnt, small, and thin. Frankly, I strongly advise against going there, and those who do go have never tasted real Neapolitan pizza. Honestly, the worst part is the woman. I asked her about the size of the pizza, and since they offered two different doughs, she told me, "No, we don't make that one anymore because it costs us too much?" So, it costs her too much, but she continues to charge her customers exorbitant prices. Unbelievable! I'll never go back, that's for sure, and trust me, I've eaten some good pizzas in my life! The car smelled of burnt dough rather than ingredients. The staff were very stressed and extremely anxious, and you could tell... VERY DISAPPOINTED. DISGUSTING.
16/03/2026: The "big appetite" menu is very appealing: a glass of wine, salad, pizza, dessert, and coffee for €25 – excellent!

Our ordeal began Saturday at 2 PM in search of a meal other than yet another fast-food joint.
My girlfriend, my friend, and I were seated at a table opposite the counter where a manager was chatting with customers. After the welcome salad, a neglected young "trainee" took our order (a barbecue platter and a three-pepper steak). Between misunderstandings and a lack of knowledge of the menu, a twenty-minute battle ensued to order this platter.
When we arrived late, a server with a tray pointed out the absence of our order. Between the long wait, the awkwardness, and the struggle to make ourselves understood, the barbecue platter was finally ordered from the kitchen and the steak brought to the table. Another half hour later, once the steak had gone cold, the platter arrived. I took the opportunity to send back my cold plate. An hour already in this hell.
Ten years later, I still hadn't seen my plate return. A waiter had to go and retrieve it, having apparently forgotten it. Our group put an end to this charade. We took a doggy bag for the few leftovers and headed to the counter. The manager, aware of all these problems, told us that this waiter was indeed new, but unsupervised because he was experienced.
This experience earned us a 10% discount, or 6 euros. Barely the price of 3 coffees... Although we left before dessert and endured an hour of waiting, confusion, and deliberation, it was nothing compared to the 60 euros we paid.
In short: An hour of waiting for no reason.
Several order problems.
Problems with competence.
On the positive side, the meat is quite good when hot and not reheated or forgotten.

17/04/2026: This is the first time I've seen a McDonald's employee so kind and helpful, congratulations.
16/04/2026: We shared some wonderful family moments with a team that was excellent in every way. That said, the atmosphere wasn't great because some parents weren't keeping their children in line, and nobody said anything. We went outside, but a group of young people were smoking weed, and we couldn't find a place to sit. It's just a shame.

01/04/2026: Nothing to say... except maybe the disco in the toilets, which made me laugh. Seriously, the music in the toilets is way too loud.
28/03/2026: I got a chocolate chip cookie and a "Dubai" croissant, and it cost me almost €10. I didn't understand it.
The cookie wasn't good, it was dry and smelled like it had been frozen. And the croissant? Don't even get me started. I don't understand this "Dubai" concept that allows them to charge exorbitant prices when the croissant itself was awful, sweet, and pointless. Honestly, I won't be going back, even though the bakery used to be good. It's a shame. I'll still give a good rating for the girl who served me, though.

21/02/2026: I was extremely disappointed by the quality of the pizzas at Domino's Essey. There was barely any mozzarella, and the toppings were minimal... It felt like eating a crust with almost nothing on it.
When I reported the problem to the manager, instead of trying to understand or offer a solution, he gave me incoherent and unprofessional explanations. He completely ignored customer feedback.
For the price I paid, I expect much better quality and service. A very bad experience; I do not recommend it.
12/02/2026: Ordered 5 pizzas, requesting classic crust, not thin crust.
Our pizzas arrived with such a thin crust that we could barely taste the very light toppings. If you can even call them toppings, because they were so minimal we couldn't taste anything.
Almost all the pizzas tasted the same and were very dry.
We are extremely disappointed, especially since this isn't the first time.
And when I called last time, I received very poor service on the phone. In any case, one thing is certain: we will never go back, because we are extremely dissatisfied. REALLY

09/08/2024: C'est le pire restaurant que j'ai fait très très sales un cheveux dans le chorizo !! Une viande qui puer les égout !!! Le cuisinier on pourrait croire un clodo alcoolique et donne pas envie de manger sa nourriture ! Assiettes sales! Et quand on a fait la réflexion au patron il nous a rigolé au nez !! Je vous conseille pas d'aller manger là-bas!
17/06/2024: A fuir !! Le patron est mal poli, aucun sens du service client, il envoie "boulet" l'ensemble de ses clients suite à une montée de stress. Il se montre insultant face à ses collaborateurs. C'est encore regrettable de voir des employeurs se comporter de la sorte en 2024. Même si les plats étaient bons, nous ne sommes pas sentis à l'aise lorsque le patron, sous 15 degrés dehors décide de laisser les portes du restaurant ouvert, ce qui crée un courant d'air et importunait nos enfants de 3 et 8 ans malgré nos plaintes et recommandations. Nous plaingnons les conditions de travails de ces employés.

07/09/2024: I went there for the first time with a friend. Accustomed to beautiful restaurants, we nevertheless appreciated this small neighborhood restaurant. Here the choice is limited but for a good cause…fresh, seasonal products, well cooked and very reasonable prices.

25/02/2024: Le 25 fevrier 2024, au rayon traiteur chinois/japonais. Une vingtaine de plats périmés depuis le 22 fevrier 2024, ils ont été fabriqués le 20.
Cora Essey se dégrade d’année en année. Je croyais que c’était le Cora pilote pour la France et bien j’ai de gros doutes!!!
