12/03/2026: Impeccable service at this bar/tobacconist/PMU, homemade dishes, several beers on tap, plenty of seating, a small shop selling leather goods and sweets – everything is perfect

06/04/2026: The menu offered was nothing like the one on the website. The choices were a two-course meal for €32 or a three-course meal for €42. Rather expensive for what was offered. It wasn't bad, but it was definitely not worth the price. So, I definitely won't be back.

05/04/2026: In this superb setting, with a friendly team and a small but sufficiently varied menu, one could have expected a good time. Meh. A sea bream tartare that was barely an amuse-bouche, an overcooked and bland chicken supreme served with baby potatoes that smelled like old potatoes. And what about the "tatin" for dessert, where the apple wasn't even stewed... a shame to waste such potential. And enough with these restaurants with music; we're here to chat with friends, not to be heard.

02/02/2026: A special menu for just €10, including a small glass of wine, as a token of appreciation to the staff for keeping the establishment open. I really enjoyed the menu; it was simple, delicious, and refined. The portions were reasonable, perfect for smaller appetites, but the price was perfectly understandable! Thank you and best of luck!

17/01/2026: A great find! We had a delicious meal at a reasonable price with friendly service, all without a reservation, and on a Saturday lunchtime no less, despite the restaurant being packed! Located just steps from Place Stanislas, I highly recommend it.

26/04/2026: Really not good, hygiene is not respected, the meat is tasteless, it's like a factory now. The owner gets sauce on his fingers, licks it, doesn't even wash his hands, it's unpleasant, and touches the food without gloves. The person cutting the meat eats at the same time. An Uber driver picks up a bag full of grease. Really disappointed by the drop in quality.

10/04/2026: It's supposedly the best in Nancy, but I've only been once with my partner. We both ordered the same thing: a kebab. Frankly, it's the first time this has ever happened to us. We unwrapped the kebab and the meat had a repulsive smell, but we ignored it. The result: a night in the bathroom. The service was very slow and frankly, it wasn't great. I admit I'm surprised by its reputation.

17/04/2026: We arrived at the terrace at 6:30 PM, and by 7:15 PM we still hadn't been served despite my going to the bar to ask to order. I also flagged down a waitress on the terrace a few minutes later, who told me her colleague would be arriving soon. As a result, he ignored us for an hour, and we were never served. I don't blame the two waitresses, but rather the waiter who was assigned to our table. I used to come here often, and I was very disappointed with the service; I won't be back anytime soon.

29/03/2026: Incredible service thanks to Mathieu! Always with a big smile, despite having to climb three flights of stairs for every order, he remains funny, kind, and extremely pleasant. He truly stands out; it's a real pleasure to be served by him. Thank you again!

17/04/2026: Excellent pizzas (I have a weakness for the pan crust, so wonderfully soft!). I come here regularly to stock up on pizzas. Every time, we enjoy generous and delicious pizzas. Always perfectly cooked, never any curb rash. A warm welcome, always friendly, punctual, and helpful. I highly recommend it. 07/04/2026: On this birthday we were spoiled with HB written on the pizzas 🙂 very helpful staff with a smile and their pizza is excellent, we recommend it.

30/04/2026: Spaghetti for children isn't practical, neither for the children nor for the parents. The tomato sauce for this spaghetti was spicy.

11/04/2026: Retrogusto, or the art of ripping people off... We arrived at 7:15 pm today for dinner. A young man, who was quite friendly, gave us the menu and suggested truffle tagliatelle as the daily special. The menu listed prices between €15 and €25... I decided to order the special... the tagliatelle was very good, and it was only when I paid that I realized the price: €39 for the dish!!! You can set whatever prices you want, and the customer decides, but to present a daily special without mentioning the price, especially when it's 50% more expensive than the other menu items, is, in my opinion, blatant deception. There was one more truffle in this restaurant tonight... the good news is that this will be the last time! A word of advice: be vigilant!

01/03/2026: A disastrous experience from start to finish. Admittedly, the gentleman at the reception was kind and helpful, and that was the only positive thing about the evening. Otherwise, it's best avoided. We found a hair in our dish—and not just a tiny, discreet hair, far from invisible… It's unacceptable. The dish was replaced, admittedly, but we were still charged. That's simply outrageous. The dishes were far too greasy, and the quality has clearly declined. We had been before, and it's getting worse every year. Furthermore, offering both Moroccan and Indian dishes is baffling: where's the logic? We will never set foot in this place again.

31/12/2025: I went to get some food during my lunch break. The waitress was talking to her colleague while I was placing my order, and when I wanted to eat my dessert, there was mold in it. Too late to go back as I was at work.

15/11/2025: A little place to eat in the city has become a real pleasure; the service is very pleasant (thank you to Noémie and Sara for their exemplary service), the food is really good, the quality is there, great place, I highly recommend it

28/03/2026: Passing through Nancy on a Saturday at lunchtime, it was our first time at this establishment. Reasonable prices, friendly staff. We ordered pizzas and they were quite good.

22/03/2026: The charm of a bouillon in Nancy. Small and reasonably priced, quality ingredients, quick and very friendly service. It's truly the best place to eat well at very reasonable prices: a bouillon, what else! Highly recommended if you want to eat well, simply, and cheaply: I had a Monaco cocktail as an aperitif, herring fillets and potatoes in oil as a starter, beef bourguignon and coquillettes pasta as a main course, cheese, and diced pineapple marinated in honey for dessert, all for €30.10.

27/04/2026: Excellent bakery! Always plenty of choices, especially savory items (which is rare in most bakeries). The service is always pleasant, fairly quick, and the prices are reasonable. In short, a great neighborhood bakery 😉

09/04/2026: I've been a regular at Léopold Kebab for at least 15 years. I've never had a single complaint. I've always ordered delivery and never had any problems. Yesterday, after the fair, I went to eat on the terrace with my children for the first time. We were warmly welcomed by a fantastic young man who was very attentive to his customers. My son was pleasantly surprised by his kindness, which isn't something you see in every kebab shop. The meat was good, no complaints except that I would have liked a little more feta cheese 😅 The children also enjoyed their meal. Thank you, Chef! I think you'll recognize me 😉 The current team is fantastic! 👍🏻

14/05/2026: The customer service is appalling. I used to come here frequently, but I won't be going back. I went in to use the restroom, and they stopped me and told me I absolutely had to buy something (just for a quick trip to the bathroom). I asked if I could go quickly anyway, but they refused again, as if it cost them an arm and a leg. The bar next door kindly let me go. They could have said it politely, but no, it was totally rude, as if I'd committed a crime. It just put me off.

14/05/2026: Excellent McDonald's! The waiter and waitress were incredibly kind and really checked to make sure your order was there. Only a 5-minute wait! I highly recommend it!
