02/07/2026: We had a wonderful evening! The gourmet menus were delicious, with flavorful and perfectly prepared dishes. The service was impeccable: welcoming, friendly, and attentive from beginning to end. Special mention goes to the new terrace, which is truly magnificent and offers a very pleasant setting. We will definitely be back!

13/07/2026: An excellent experience at Restaurant La Bâtisse in Saint-Avold! The service was simply impeccable. The manager is fantastic: very professional, welcoming, smiling, and always attentive to her customers. You truly feel well taken care of from beginning to end.
The dishes were delicious, perfectly prepared, and served with care. Everything was in place for a wonderful time. A big thank you to the entire team for their professionalism and kindness. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!

08/06/2026: We came to eat with friends for a birthday.
Between a hair in one of our dishes and a burnt, totally inedible pizza, it was a bit of a letdown (they remade it, but we still had to wait ages while everyone else was almost finished...). It was cold anyway, so we had no choice but to eat.
There was no compensation for this, no apology, just a waiter telling me, "Here's your dish now with twice as many hairs!" Luckily, the waitresses were able to spot it, lol!
Otherwise, the atmosphere was great, even though we should have been in the smaller room next door as originally planned!
07/06/2026: Great evening, Sam the waiter was super responsive and friendly, don't hesitate to come for your occasions, remember to book.

The waiter chatted a lot with the regulars, and we waited 20 minutes before he came to give us the menu and ask if we wanted something to drink.
The meal was very good.
We didn't have dessert because 1 hour and 45 minutes for an aperitif, a main course, and coffee is very long.
What a shame.

You have to be patient when it's busy, especially on weekends, but the wait is worth it.

21/06/2026: A hotel that does the job. Super friendly and professional staff. Given the pastries, I suggest taking the opportunity to expand the breakfast offerings.
05/06/2026: This is one of the few hotels where people still live and work.
The rooms are very clean, and the staff is courteous and friendly.
The cakes and pastries are absolutely delicious. 😋
The only downside is that the breakfast could use something more savory (eggs, sausage, and cheese). But hey, this is France! 🤷🏼♂️

06/06/2026: I strongly advise against this snack bar.
My experience was disastrous from beginning to end. When ordering, I specified several times which raw vegetables I wanted in my sandwich. The person taking my order casually replied, "We don't care, we'll do it later." As a result, none of the requested raw vegetables were added.
Even worse, onions were included in my order, despite my allergy. Luckily, I noticed before eating, as the consequences could have been serious. Such a lack of attention to food allergies is simply unacceptable.
The overall quality was poor, and after eating, I suffered from excruciating stomach pain for several hours. Between the lack of professionalism, the failure to listen to the customer, and the disregard for dietary restrictions, this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a food establishment.
I will never set foot in that place again and I strongly advise against this establishment for anyone concerned about their health and the quality of service.
