04/08/2026: A small update to my rating:
I don't know if it's related to the holiday period or not, but things have been getting progressively worse these last few months:
- The children's menu is getting worse and worse (no more burgers, just two choices in mid-July) (tenders or ground beef)
- It was a real struggle to find clean glasses (spoiler alert: we shared one)
- No air conditioning
- The toppings are adequate (it's Flunch, after all)
- Friendly staff (+1 star thanks to them)
01/08/2026: One word: Shameful....
Apart from the cashier who was very smiley and friendly, the rest of the staff... Detestable. And I'm not even talking about the quality of the "buffet," which isn't one at all... It's a pittance; it takes 30 minutes to replenish the few vegetables that are available... On the other hand, three trays of fries and rice reappear instantly—it's magic, you'll see. Disappointed, I won't be back.

22/10/2025: This couscous is delicious. Surely the best I've had in the region. The atmosphere is friendly and the food excellent. Now I'm wondering what's become of the restaurant. I have the impression it hasn't reopened since the summer holidays of 2025.

28/06/2026: I had breakfast there; the prices are a bit high. The pain au chocolat and the café crème were good but standard. The waitress was rather unpleasant, barely responding to us. However, the terrace is lovely in the summer.

29/07/2026: Hello, very pleasant shop, very friendly staff, despite the crowds they always had a kind word for. Special mention to the manager, always smiling and pleasant. The specialty breads are very good. Thank you to the whole team for your kindness and good cheer.
25/07/2026: The waitress was incredibly rude! Not even a hello, she seemed annoyed. I asked her for information, she sighed, didn't answer my question, and told me to read the signs if I wanted the information I was looking for... uh, lol... and it was only 10 am, I can only imagine what she'd be like at 4 pm... She should find another job if she can't stand people. I should add that she was just as unpleasant to the two customers before me, who also made the same comment...

26/07/2026: Arriving at 8 pm on a Saturday night with an empty buffet and seeing the restaurant empty was already a turn-off. I understood why when I saw the buffet... This restaurant is a disaster!!! It's cheap, but there's practically nothing on the buffet.
17/07/2026: They offer two drinks per person during service.
You could say it's a typical all-you-can-eat restaurant, with fewer options than Chinese restaurants like WOK, which only offers one drink, but it's not bad for eating a few Asian dishes. Unfortunately, for the past few years, I've had the impression that prices have gone up while high-cost items are being removed, meaning parts of what's offered are being reduced to increase profit margins. A bit like shrinking.
Is the company struggling? Are they trying to increase their margins? I just hope the situation improves.

02/07/2026: Despite the friendly service, well-organized space, and good food with generous portions, I observed wasps in the display cases. One of the servers saw the wasps but did nothing. I understand that in the summer these kinds of insects might be attracted to the area, however, solutions could be considered.

12/07/2026: This is the second time we've come here, and the first time the food tasted strange. We decided never to eat here again, but this week I went back with my mother and we paid €40 for two meals with drinks and two spring rolls. We didn't even eat our food; the first bite tasted bitter and spoiled. Being pregnant, I told them that the dish tasted strange and inedible. We were just told that everything was fresh. No one offered us anything else or even a refund, knowing that for €40 at lunchtime I could have eaten all I want.
02/07/2026: Excellent Asian caterer that I highly recommend! 🥢 The dishes are flavorful, well-seasoned, and prepared with care (special mention for the beef with onions). You can tell they respect the recipes and ingredients.
The welcome is always warm, the service is quick, and the products are incredibly fresh. A great place I'll definitely be back to!

03/12/2025: It's a disaster, it stinks so bad it could wake the dead, and it's dangerous.
We threw everything in the trash...
28/11/2025: As a matter of principle, I don't give a negative review because I ate there for decades. I ordered four servings of sweet and sour sauce; just by looking at the color, you could tell it wasn't the same batch. Some of the sauce had simply fermented... a strong, overpowering taste of alcohol, so that plate went straight in the bin. The rice was rock hard, almost raw... After the sauce, I wondered how old it was... It's crazy to take over such a Thionville institution and ruin it like this. Judging by the other reviews, it's far from an isolated case.

24/07/2026: Been here multiple times, the baguettes are always fresh. If you are lucky the staff will be nice and warm (which usually is the case except for once and twice)

25/08/2024: Je tiens à partager mon expérience désastreuse dans ce restaurant. Dès mon arrivée, j'ai été accueilli par un service lamentable. Les serveurs semblaient totalement désintéressés et, pire encore, ils ont jeté la nourriture sur la table sans aucune considération.
La présentation des plats était tout aussi médiocre, ce qui est inacceptable pour un établissement prétendant offrir une cuisine de qualité. Je me suis senti traité avec mépris, et cela a vraiment gâché mon repas.
Je ne recommande absolument pas ce restaurant. Il y a trop d'options ailleurs où le respect du client et la qualité de la nourriture sont des priorités.
14/07/2024: Je vais dans ce restaurant depuis son ouverture, mais depuis quelque temps, rien ne va plus. La qualité des produit est médiocre, les portions sont ridicules, les makis sont faits à la va vite, les plats sont jetés sur les tables en une fois.....on dérange

08/07/2024: Carte courte, c'est rare. Des spécialités de vapeur parfaitement maîtrisées... Des plats généreux et goûteux... Un riz blanc parfaitement cuit... (Oui, c'est important).
Rien à redire c'est parfait sur toute la ligne.
Et le service est à la hauteur. Nous reviendrons !
