27/08/2026: Here's a summary of our last three visits. Always very good, but the other time we came on a Saturday afternoon around 4:00 PM, I think, and they were out of the savory options (four or five!). But then again, before the weekend, it's more about avoiding food waste, which I can understand. We went again late last night, and only one savory option was out of stock—perfect. We were pleasantly surprised by the "croc waf" (a type of sandwich), which we ate immediately. It was already perfectly cooked, which is important because my friend is pregnant. I usually don't order it because I'm afraid it won't be full enough, but this one had such a huge amount of cheese—magnificent, excellent! We bought four other uncooked savory options to take home. The "crousti" (a type of sandwich) was excellent, and the "Sevilla banger" (a type of sandwich) was as good as ever. I have mixed feelings about the burger. The patty was much bigger than usual, which was a pleasant surprise, but it wasn't any tastier than the thinner ones, and there was less room for the sauce, so it was a bit dry. The young woman with glasses who served us was lovely; despite the high turnover, we're always made to feel welcome—that's the strength of young people.

17/08/2026: The seller was very attentive, the service was very quick, and everything was done with love. My favorite was the Nutella frappe 😍

23/09/2026: I received a very warm welcome; the young woman with glasses was incredibly kind and smiling. She gave me all the information I needed and was very pleasant to be with. It's lovely to see such friendly young people. I'll gladly come back.

27/08/2026: Very good, two friendly waitresses. We regularly visit this little golden brioche.

20/10/2026: Someone needs to explain to me why my sweet doughnut smells like fish? You can't fry an apple turnover in oil that's been used to fry fish fillets, it's disgusting.

20/03/2026: Exceptional cuisine, from appetizer to dessert, everything to delight your taste buds. What's more, everything is homemade. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, don't hesitate; you won't be disappointed. The ambiance and service are on par with the food. This restaurant deserves a Michelin Guide review.

05/03/2026: We booked a table for nine, but unfortunately, only seven of us arrived at the last minute and we mentioned it upon arrival. We were immediately attacked before we were even seated for not having given prior notice. We apologized and asked for an explanation, but instead of a sympathetic response, we were met with a rigid and unresponsive person. After several minutes of discussion, another person arrived and made things even worse, so we decided to leave.

20/09/2026: A very nice restaurant with a great team! The two waitresses we had went out of their way for the customers, who, from what I saw, were sometimes less than pleasant. Special mention to the waitress with lots of tattoos! She was overwhelmed with requests but remained lovely.

20/09/2026: Arriving a little after noon, we quickly announced that we were in a hurry because we had a cinema reservation at 1:30 pm. Our food order was taken at 12:15 pm, and we were told it would take 15 minutes. It ended up taking 50 minutes for the food to arrive… So, in the end, we didn't have time to get dessert, even though it was included and paid for in the set menus. When we paid, we were told that "bad service happens," that they were short-staffed on Sundays, and that there had been a lot of Uber Eats orders. After expressing our dissatisfaction, we were simply offered a 5% discount, or about €3.50. This is far from the level of service one would expect, especially since we clearly stated upon arrival that we were pressed for time.

20/07/2026: We ordered from their website and weren't disappointed. The prices are affordable, the food is good, and we even got two free drinks. The delivery took a little while, but the food arrived cold where it needed to be and hot where it needed to be. We'll definitely order from you again!

07/07/2026: I'm a regular at this restaurant, especially for takeout, which is excellent (quality, very fast service). However, we dined at Chammie Sushi on a Monday evening, and the service left much to be desired. The staff seemed overwhelmed even though the restaurant was practically empty, and some employees were quite unpleasant. Dishes took almost an hour to arrive, others were forgotten, we had to repeatedly ask for our order to be served, and some plates were cold because they'd been left on the counter for too long... all of this was met with an irritated response from the waiter. I don't recommend dining in; opt for takeout instead.

03/10/2026: If you're in a hurry and don't want to go out of your way, go for it. But avoid it if you're looking for quality products; if you love pizza, keep walking. It's a shame, because the outdoor setting is pleasant.

30/09/2026: We had a great evening! We discovered this restaurant because it was located below the Airbnb we had rented! We arrived with a dog, a baby, and a toddler, and we received a wonderful welcome! All the staff played with the little one, and the dog got lots of cuddles. The portions were more than generous! There was a slight hiccup at the end with the bill, but everything was sorted out without any problems! We will gladly return on our next vacation.

03/10/2026: Tonight I finally understood the true meaning of the word "disappointment." The service was appalling. My main course was served before my starter, which, if I hadn't asked for it, wouldn't have been the main course. Then came the final blow: no compensation was offered. They'll never see me again. I strongly advise against going there. There are plenty of other options around Thionville.

20/09/2026: The slightly long wait is quickly forgotten thanks to the quality of the food. Everything is truly delicious; it's hard to choose from the menu.

28/09/2026: I ordered one kebab, two double kebabs, and one order of fries for delivery. I received three kebabs of the same size, with only average meat (I paid €43). The taste was okay, but the service was terrible. I'll never order from them again. Seriously, €43 for three sandwiches?! In short, I got ripped off. Never again.

04/09/2026: Great kebab, the staff are amazing, very friendly and dedicated. I highly recommend it!!!

18/10/2026: Finally, a place where you get your money's worth! Don't go to the wrong address, this is the real Shamiana. The welcome is provided by a team of young men who are always smiling, friendly, and attentive to their customers. And what about the portions? They're incredibly generous; you'll leave with a full stomach and a smile. The food is excellent. Go for it without hesitation!

28/06/2026: I had breakfast there; the prices are a bit high. The pain au chocolat and the café crème were good but standard. The waitress was rather unpleasant, barely responding to us. However, the terrace is lovely in the summer.

04/10/2026: We went back to Flunch and were surprised because the last time wasn't great, but this time the new manager is incredible! He's kind, helpful, and attentive. Thank you for your kindness; we'll be back more often from now on :)

30/09/2026: A bit dark and the service area is a little cramped. Friendly staff. The dining room is clean. You can't ask for more for the price.
