09/09/2024: After a very tiring day at the Etrange Grande festival, we needed to recharge! Let's go to M Sushi, in Thionville, which closes quite early, 9:45 p.m., even for a Saturday, knowing that we finished work at 7:30 p.m., we were in a bit of a hurry. It's quite cozy inside, there are benches, quite a few tables, enough space between them so that I can pass by and we can't overhear the neighbors' conversations. We were quickly served water (very good point), and the menu was tempting even if I was a little disappointed by the lack of vegetable/vegetarian ravioli on the menus. Yes, there are quite a few menus, but the lack of customization or vegetarian options is a shame. Example, why not insert vegetable gyozas with avocado makis? Or for non-vegetarians, a platter to personalize? So I took the veggie matsu, my friend the gyozas, my companion the Osaka menu, and I also took 12 slices of salmon sashimi (16 euros all the same for the slices^^). Each menu comes with miso soup and coleslaw, I don't have the impression that we can change that, let's see? It's good and quite filling, so the quality/price ratio is good for me. Everything was very fresh, excellent, the sashimi melted in the mouth... a real treat. The wasabi wasn't spicy enough for my taste, if I can really find fault with the accompaniments. To be retested with more à la carte selections to compare. Allow around €20/person. You can book. We pay at the counter. WC not tested. It's accessible and there are "outside" tables. 4 stars because not only is there a slight lack of veggie elements, but also, we struggle a bit to get another carafe of water, the waiters constantly moving and not looking at us ^^ In short: good Japanese restaurant in Thionville. Perfect for a dinner with friends, I recommend!

09/09/2024: Après une journée bien crevante au festival Etrange Grande, il fallait bien se recharger ! C'est parti pour M Sushi, à Thionville, qui ferme assez tôt, 21h45, même pour un samedi, sachant qu'on a fini de travailler il était 19h30, on s'est un peu pressés. C'est assez cosy à l'intérieur, y a des banquettes, pas mal de tables, assez d'espaces entre elles pour que je puisse passer et qu'on ne puisse pas trop écouter les conversations des voisins. Rapidement on nous sert de l'eau (très bon point), et la carte est alléchante même si j'ai été un peu déçue du manque de raviolis légumes/végétariens dans les menus. Oui, y a pas mal de menus, mais le manque de personnalisation ou d'options végétariennes c'est dommage. Exemple, pourquoi pas insérer des gyozas aux légumes avec des makis avocats ? Ou pour les non végés, un plateau à personnaliser ? J'ai donc pris le matsu végé, mon amie les gyozas, mon compagnon le menu Osaka, et j'ai aussi pris 12 tranches de sashimi saumon (16 euros tout de même pour les tranches^^). Chaque menu est accompagné d'une soupe miso et d'une salade de choux, je n'ai pas l'impression qu'on puisse changer cela, à voir ? C'est bien et assez copieux, donc le rapport qualité/prix est bon pour ma part. Tout était bien frais, excellent, les sashimis fondaient en bouche... un vrai régal. Le wasabi ne piquait pas assez à mon goût, si vraiment je peux trouver un défaut sur les accompagnements. À re-tester avec plus de sélections à la carte pour comparer. Comptez environ 20 €/ personne. Vous pouvez réserver. On paye au comptoir. WC non testés. C'est accessible et y a des tables "dehors". 4 étoiles parce que non seulement y a un petit manque d'éléments végé, mais aussi, on bataille un peu pour récupérer une autre carafe d'eau, les serveurs bougeant sans cesse et nous regardant peu ^^

10/09/2024: Unacceptable! We booked for New Year's Eve, we thought we would have a good evening but the welcome and the service quickly put us off. The waiters were rushing us to leave as quickly as possible! But if we don't want to work on New Year's Eve, then we won't open! The dishes were bland and the meat was rubbery. I find it shameful to serve such mediocre dishes in a restaurant. Honestly, we would have preferred to eat at the local snack bar! So to just remind you of the basics of a business: welcome, a smile, service and if possible tasty dishes for a restaurant otherwise change jobs!

11/09/2024: Attention meat lovers! Deli' Meat is a great restaurant when it comes to meat. I didn't taste all their meat of course, but what I did taste was really succulent! The boss seems to know where to get supplies to offer quality food. There is a choice and the menu is quite nice. We tried the pierrade and it's really great because we are given an individual pierrade and we can do as we want without having to fight for space on the pierrade. It's a really great concept, however you shouldn't take too long to eat because the pierrade cools and it can be tricky for the last pieces of meat to cook. But don't panic, the service will replace it for you in the blink of an eye. On the other hand, that day the service was not the best, we must admit... moreover the restaurant is located in a corner of the "restaurant courtyard" of Thionville, and therefore we feel a little left out compared to other customers of other restaurants... It is in fact the one which has less space on the entire courtyard so it is a bit limiting when you choose to eat on the terrace. On the other hand, the setting remains super nice, this courtyard is really great with the fountain in the middle, the decorations and the plants growing everywhere, it's really a great atmosphere. Restaurant to try so, I recommend, not everyone will perhaps find what they are looking for but you have to try.

27/08/2024: I usually never post a review when I'm disappointed, but now I have to. I admit that I didn't need to look at the previous reviews to know that this restaurant had changed ownership. I think that serving dishes like the ones we ate is really not right. Sincerely hoping that you improve. For our part, we will unfortunately move on in the future. Good luck.

30/07/2024: Customers for over 20 years, it was the only Asian restaurant where we ate! Never disappointed, it was always great! Unfortunately since Tham left, the kitchen has slowly deteriorated! We had already complained a little about a few products over the months, And there, this Friday, really disappointed! It was too much! Tham help, come back!! In the window: The spring rolls with lots of little black dots of faded oil, the dry caps, zero vegetables in the sticky vegetable noodles, overcooked chicken skewers, the meats in sauces drowned in a broth that was half sauce and half water, the confined rice which stank of vinegar, disgusting (when we opened our container at home), And nothing was good! The cook who arrives from outside and who the boss calls madame as if they don't know each other??? Ah! Well why not, let's move on...... In short, really disappointed! We won't go back there again, Too bad after so many years.

14/03/2024: Simple but appetizing menu. The dishes are generous, homemade and good at affordable prices. The menu could offer 1 or 2 more original dishes in order to discover new flavors 😉

25/08/2024: A disappointing meal: my wife ordered meatballs which arrived raw inside knowing that we asked for well-cooked since she is pregnant. So we asked to cook them more but it took so long to bring it back to us that I ate it cold. Then wanted to use mustard individually but expired since February. I will not go back and recommend it against it. In addition, the table next to us also sent out a plate with a glass in the salad.
