09/09/2024: Very good restaurant in Varennes-Vauzelle, the setting is pleasant, even if it doesn't look much from the outside. The dishes are good and well presented
06/09/2024: Le ris de veau était très mal préparé(membrane toujours présente), le service du vin baclé(ongles sales,ouvre la bouteille, se dépêche de servir en mettant du vin dans et en dehors du verre et s'en va). Le reste était bon. Nous sommes sur un sentiment partagé de déception et de bon moment.

There were 8 of us for a birthday, next to a table of 30 screaming people, without any feeling of embarrassment... we couldn't hear each other speak...
Too bad this room was not privatized for them..

20/09/2024: Nous avons eu le plaisir de déjeuner au restaurant dimanche avec une trentaines d'amis. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par le personnel malgré notre réservation de dernière minute. le service était rapide et efficace. Les plat étaient bien préparés et les portions généreuses. La terrasse offre un cadre très agréable avec vue sur le lac.

26/08/2024: Somewhat disappointed with the place. I guess I got it wrong, but there was a smell of fuel during my meal. I didn't particularly like the starter I chose, namely raw vegetables. The main course, ham with cream, was good. The correct dessert but nothing more. The setting is pretty, it's a shame that the smell of fuel was present. The service seemed to be run by just one person, but there wasn't much of a wait.

07/09/2024: Very good lunch and copious impeccable service, I recommend this beautiful little inn for a gourmet and calm stopover.
07/09/2024: After wanting to book for two adults (we are told that it is ok) we indicate that we will be with our baby in a stroller, and finally it is full. We are told that it is too narrow or too noisy... despite the fact that this does not bother us, we are refused cover... unbelievable.
There is a much nicer restaurant elsewhere on the lake!

Nous avons très bien mangé. Convient pour un appétit normal (gros appétit, vous ne serez peut être pas rassasié)

Accueil correct.
Cuisine faite sur place : on nous a indiqué ce qui était encore disponible ce jour-là
Rien d'extraordinaire mais bien suffisant pour un petit midi.
Personnel correct sans plus.
07/09/2024: Restaurant with no unpleasant waiter and not knowing how to explain the aperitif dishes quickly served and after endless waiting.

07/09/2024: This place seems to be always busy when we visit. That said, the servers do try to ensure good service. The pizza is exceptionally good and the chef churning them out is amazing. Have also enjoyed the salads there…. fresh and tasty.
05/09/2024: We went there with friends without having booked, knowing that there were 6 of us. However, they accepted us and we even had a place on the terrace!
Excellent welcome with very good servers (a little thought of the woman who made fun of me for the fact that I had not finished my pasta because I was being smart haha), the wait was quick, although It took us a while to choose!
Overall, the dishes and desserts were very good! However, a little disappointed with the pizza dough, a little too thick for our taste, otherwise, it's flawless! The prices are attractive. I would recommend stopping there when you are passing through! 🙌

21/01/2025: A good, average, clean tourist hotel/business hotel in the north of Nevers. The room was big enough for two people, although the bathroom was a bit cramped. Breakfast is not cheap, but for the price (€13/person) you get a very large and good choice. Free parking spaces available approximately 150 meters away. Friendly and attentive staff. In my opinion, the prices are average for this category and offer good value for money. The city center of Nevers is about 15 minutes away on foot.
16/01/2025: Driving home from Paris, we stopped halfway and stayed at your hotel. We chose it primarily because of the free, secure parking, and so glad we did, as we had a problem with our rental car and couldn’t get the doors to lock! Although a block away, the parking is very secure (behind a closed gate at night) and put my mind at ease.
Once we checked in, we found the room to be comfortable and the hotel staff gracious. Would recommend and will stay again if in the area.

13/12/2024: cadre agréable, cuisine locale préparée sur place. Expérience décevante pour un diner tardif.... Sauces pas fraiches. Produits (poisson, volaille) trop cuits (sans doute réchauffé). Service décontracté : tenue du personnel limite (l'apprenti cracra). Pas de nappe et serviette en papier. Nous y sommes venu sur recommandation et avec une locale qui était surprise de cette baisse de qualité
21/11/2024: Het is elke keer genieten van heerlijke gerechten en mooie combinaties. Truffel menu was werkelijk exceptioneel!
Aanrader zowel voor lunch als diner.
