07/03/2026: A wonderful discovery in Venette!
Le Méga is a restaurant that pleasantly surprises. From the moment you step inside, you're immersed in the ambiance of a Savoyard chalet, with plenty of wood, warm decor, and intimate spaces reminiscent of mountain inns. The atmosphere is friendly and truly refreshing, especially considering it's so close to Compiègne.
The dining room is very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with tables equally suited to group meals and quieter dinners.
The menu offers generous and delicious French cuisine: beautiful cuts of meat, cheese specialties, regional dishes, and a few perfectly executed classics. You can tell the food is made for pleasure, simple yet satisfying.
Special mention goes to the exceptionally friendly and attentive service. It's the kind of place where you quickly feel at ease.
A welcoming spot where you can have a wonderful time, and where you'll naturally want to return.

26/03/2026: No complaints about the food, but regarding the service at the ice cream counter, I found the lady in a bad mood, even though I came several times during the month and her mood didn't change. I find that a bit inappropriate of her.
24/03/2026: Very unpleasant staff. Avoid this place. I ordered a crepe; it was just batter. I ordered an inedible crepe. Avoid it.

13/03/2026: Nothing tastes good anymore. It's just not the same. Everything is bland. One shrimp had a strange, almost rotten taste. In short, it's very expensive and disappointing.
It used to be expensive, sure, but good!
In short, you need to change chefs immediately.
28/12/2025: Very expensive. You might as well go to the Asian gourmet restaurant; it's the same quality. And it's all-you-can-eat. Avoid it; for the same price, here you only get one plate!

06/04/2026: It's a real shame to see the staff waiting for customers and not opening the terrace even with a damaged table.
03/04/2026: Avoid the McDonald's in Venette! The staff is unfriendly, and having been there several times, I've noticed that items are often missing. I've never reported it before, but tonight two fries were missing. I tried calling, but no one answered.

On trouve du pain, des sandwichs, des gâteaux et des boissons.
Pour cet établissement quelques tables permettent de manger quelque chose ou de boire un verre assis.
Commerce nettement moins grand et moins fréquenté que son homologue situé à côté de l'accès près de Flunch, néanmoins il propose les mêmes produits et est situé dans une autre partie du supermarché Carrefour.
