20/03/2024: crumpettes NORMANDY 2951 Notice pending big disappointment, probably a bad day A bad surprise, the stuffed morel as a starter was bland and very spongy, my husband enjoyed the skrei but it was really very strong. The choices of deer or squab meats are divisive, so I took the squid and cockles... but no more cockles! I don't know if that's what unbalanced the dish, but the white pudding stuffing of the squid was just weird, the black buckwheat sauce couldn't save the whole thing. My husband's fish of the day was very good (Barbue) but no particular innovation. Why such typical choices on a limited menu (89 euros)? Pleasant desserts improved the overall impression a little. To note positively -an absolutely delicious homemade mushroom bread served with a butter also flavored with mushrooms which saved my meal. A fireplace atmosphere in the living room before the very pleasant meal, but a somewhat gloomy room, almost empty despite the proximity of a family with baby and stroller. Perfect service and staff, a tb mention to the sommelier and his suggestions Not my best experience in a star hotel

31/03/2024: Very nice discovery. It is better to make a reservation as this is a restaurant apparently in high demand. We hadn't booked but despite everything we found a small place. Very interesting cafe menu

28/03/2024: Superb discovery in this beautiful town of Mortagne au Perche in the city center. There is a good atmosphere there; the staff is super friendly and what can we say about the dishes: great, we had a great time. I highly recommend, and best of all, a very beautiful terrace

02/04/2024: Advised by a Camembert producer, we had lunch at the gourmet slate. Warm welcome, friendly and efficient service. Our roasted camembert slates accompanied by potatoes and cold meats were perfect. We feel that the hams are selected... Would not change a thing ! See you next time if we come back to the area. 19/03/2024: Came for lunch and Spa afternoon as part of a hen party.....How can I say....icy welcome at the restaurant, a priori a group of 13 people posed a problem... We had made reservations for the dishes in advance, but when we arrived, we were told that the menu had changed....our waitress was not patient and annoyed....pressed us to choose because the dishes required 50 minutes of time. preparation for the cook 😬😬 Then on 2 glasses of wine, which we had just been served, there remained traces of lipstick from previous customers....😱 glasses changed without any excuse Our waitress was haughty, without any smile.....not to mention the one who cashed us out.....smile and friendliness, he doesn't know No commercial gesture for our future bride.... Then, head to the spa....charming and pleasant setting.... But the staff is like in a restaurant, without a smile, not friendly, hello and goodbye come out with difficulty Everything is austere.....I won't go back there Excessive price compared to the service
