Le Charivari
Alencon
01/07/2026: The food was fantastic, as always!
An excellent place, with super friendly owners.
13/02/2026: I work all over Normandy, and whenever my route takes me through Alençon (or even if I make a detour 🙈), this is my go-to spot for a meal.
The owners are very friendly and always offer great advice.
Generous salads, fresh ingredients—in short, everything is perfect.
I look forward to eating there again as soon as possible!

La magdeleine
Alencon
10/09/2026: One star is a fair price, if you have the audacity to serve a Belgian "Ciney" beer on tap, at least use a suitable glass, not a Paulaner mug which is not intended for it. Please train your waitresses next time because for a beer lover this is like drinking a good Bordeaux from a mustard glass!
09/09/2026: Hello, I visited Alençon yesterday and at lunchtime, I had lunch at the Bar Brasserie La Magdeleine. I had a chicken fillet with Normandy sauce and fries, and a crème brûlée. It was excellent, and I received a warm welcome. If I have the chance, I'll definitely go back. Go check it out! Thank you.

Le Marmara Kebab
Alencon
25/04/2026: More bread than meat, literally a bread sandwich, really disappointed with the portions and the service, in short there are much better places around for €10 to stuff yourself.
25/03/2026: Nice, clean place.
Clean restrooms.
Good quality, affordable meals.

Creperie la Chandelle
Alencon
05/09/2026: Be careful not to go there unannounced; we found the door locked Wednesday evening even though there was nothing written on the door or even on Google. This is the second time this has happened to us. We won't try again; it's disrespectful.
26/08/2026: A very warm welcome, a unique setting, very clean, and excellent food!

Boulangerie L'authentique
Alencon
17/08/2026: I've been a regular at this bakery for several months now, and it's always a pleasure.
The service is friendly and very professional; everything is perfect!
The bread, pastries, and cakes are beautifully crafted, the textures and baking are perfect, and the well-balanced sweetness ensures the desserts are never cloying.
I wholeheartedly recommend this artisan baker, a rare find these days.
14/08/2026: Very clean bakery and pastry shop.
Young people who deserve to succeed because everything is homemade!
It's so important to eat good products made by their own hands. Knowing that nothing comes from the freezer, that they got up very early to make us magnificent pastries and delicious bread, that they took the time to awaken our taste buds!
So go there! Support our true artisans!

30/08/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed the setting, the food, and the service, even though it was sometimes overwhelmed by the number of customers. We will definitely be back with friends because we had such a wonderful time. Thank you.

31/08/2026: “POKE” with 70% lettuce? That's not poke.
07/08/2026: Enjoyed a light snack with the family, helpful staff, quiet location, excellent value for money!

Domino's Pizza Alençon
Alencon
30/08/2026: The pizzas are always so good and the delivery is very fast!
13/06/2026: Very disappointed. I ordered a kebab pizza with an extra merguez sausage, but the topping was very meager. The tomato sauce was more prominent than the kebab or the merguez. The price is excessive considering the quality and quantity offered.

Le Vénétia
Alencon
29/08/2026: My daughter wasn’t sure when we arrived as we were the first in the restaurant, but as the food arrived and the restaurant filled up it was a great experience. The chef made my daughter a special pizza that wasn’t on the menu that she loved and all the other meals were great quality. I would highly recommend this place for an evening meal with family.
24/07/2026: A wonderful discovery. Looking forward to returning.

La Cafet' Super U
Alencon
13/08/2026: I find the store quite pleasant. The staff aren't overly friendly, but what supermarket chain has super-friendly staff?
For me, a pleasant store is one where you can find your way around quickly and easily find the products you're looking for. So, Super U Alençon is pleasant, in my opinion.
I just have one question: why put a "buy two, get one free" pack (see photos) at the end of the aisle when it's significantly more expensive than buying it individually? Thank you for your answer.
19/07/2026: The fruit and vegetable section was appalling this morning, I'd even say disgusting, and many customers were saying the same thing... Either the person in charge of that section doesn't like their job, or they're very poorly paid, or they're trying to give their boss bad publicity... It's a disgrace to leave produce rotten and in such an abominable state... You must have the means to accept so much waste, or the profit margin must be very high.

L'épopée
Alencon
04/09/2026: It's horrible!
This is the second time I've found a fly and mouse droppings in my bread! And when you go to the bakery to report it, the sales assistants say, "It's normal, it can happen"!!! Run away!
04/09/2026: The bakery is open at convenient hours, but the quality and friendliness of the service are really poor.
What a shame.

L'Entracte
Alencon
27/06/2026: We ordered around forty meal trays, they were delivered, everything was perfect for a very reasonable price, we highly recommend them. Thank you very much.
13/06/2026: Didn't enjoy the experience. Not very helpful.
There was uncooked food in the dish.
I definitely don't recommend it. Avoid at all costs.
