27/03/2024: It's extremely rare that I give a restaurant 5 stars but this one really deserves them and is worth the trip! The recipes are very original. They surprise but always positively, their creation is exquisite: worthy of a starred restaurant, for the price of a small neighborhood restaurant. The service is perfect (the dishes are not only explained in great detail but also presented in great simplicity). Such quality deserves a setting that better showcases it than this small premises on rue de la Roquette. Unfortunately, I bet that given the quality of this place, it will soon no longer be possible to book less than a few weeks in advance...

29/02/2024: We had a very pleasant evening at this place. We had a board with a wide selection of excellent quality cheeses and charcuterie. The range of wines is remarkable, and the kind and knowledgeable host allowed us to taste 3 wines before choosing the one we preferred. On my next trip to Paris, I will definitely be back!

27/02/2024: Amazing place to have a good glass of wine or some good food! We tried a delicious hummus and two different types of wine, everything was great. Nice atmosphere and positive vibes also thanks to the excellent service.

28/03/2024: The employee was very nice and accommodating. However, you should know there was no place to enjoy my pizza. I ended up walking 12 minutes back to my hotel and eating the pizza only warm. The quality of the pizza was pretty good but not quite 5 stars.

03/04/2024: Delicate and tasty dishes, an elegant and friendly restaurant, a good choice of wines. The service is attentive and fast, but you can take your time (and you do). You can order a la carte, otherwise there are absolutely correct menus. The young boss is exceptionally friendly. Great address.

31/03/2024: A restaurant that ticks all the star boxes: welcome, service, setting, cuisine. However, a big disappointment in terms of quality/price/originality. Everything we were able to taste was excellent but without any real originality. When we eat in this type of restaurant, we look for a wow on several dishes, unexpected associations, discoveries. What we didn't find here! The 3 desserts are served at the same time, without an announced order of tasting, although that would have been wise (finishing with a dessert, as excellent as it may be, made with cheese is a shame!). Second negative point is the wine service. We agreed on 6 glasses, the wine was brought to us and the appellation, the name of the estate and the grape variety were announced. But that stops there, no further explanations about the winery or why the sommelier chose this wine to accompany this dish. It’s a shame, you might as well choose a bottle! In short, I cannot give less than 4 stars because the dishes are fair, well presented and everything is well done. But the star is really fragile, I will not repeat the experience, there are restaurants with more surprises for a much more attractive price (the bill is very high compared to other starred restaurants, even in Paris!).

31/03/2024: Really nice, small, intimate restaurant whose chef tailors your meal to what you like to eat based on a questionnaire you complete. The service is excellent. It's clear why it's a 1-star. We will return in June.

06/04/2024: The atmosphere is most definitely lively, can say it is over-crowded especially in the back (servers and people shuffling past you and between tables). Then again - we went on a Friday night.. however the place is seemingly packed every night. The food has flavourful ingredients, but something was 'missing', it just did not fully tie in together. Slightly (slightly...) above average here. Unfortunately, given how crowded the place is and the volume of production of the food, at my table an allergen (severe reaction to hazelnuts), while clearly articulated, slipped through. The menu item ordered came as standard (hazelnuts all over) and not as specified in the order. Luckily, it was easy to spot, so we quickly ordered a new dish. In summary, the food was.. okay.. but maybe the price mirrors the trendiness more than the actual quality. Service was okay. Atmosphere was lively, albeit crowded. I'd followed the reviews (11k+ at high 4.6 stars) and felt it was over hyped.

01/04/2024: In one word: great!! Fresh food, prepared a la minute, super fresh and super quality. We came across it when we visited the atelier des lumieres. Lucky shot! I had a special for Easter, leg of lamb with stir-fried vegetables and rice.
